I like using Phase as an “Anti-Titan” ability. I will often use Low Profile, Phase, and Electric Smoke. All so I can get in close to an enemy Titan, steal their battery, and before they can respond, chuck a grenade in. By the time they realize what has happened and try to kill me, I can use Phase to get out of danger, and if they pursue, I can drop an electric smoke to cover my exit. Sometimes I’ll get more daring and fit a couple more grenades in

grapple rank 1 above everything else it’s so fun and i love grappling hooks but even in combat where you say it’s useless you can reposition quickly similar to stim also you can grapple the enemy and kick them in the head and when a game starts you can almost instantly get to the other side of the map if you’re good enough and especially in ctf and hard point you can get back to point quickly etc whatever it’s funny

I use pulse because there is literally nothing more fun and satisfying in the game than repeatedly killing people with it, nothing else makes people nearly as mad.

Grapple is S tier. No contest. The speed of Stim (arguably even more) and the trickery of Phase when used in fights. Plus you can reach high up places with no difficulty.

A-Wall is actually REALLY good to use in frontier defense. Use it with softball and spitfire. it just MELTS anything that heads your way.

"Pulse and grapple are bad because they do nothing in a 1v1" is a horrible take, reminder that this game is also a SHOOTER so being good at shooting will always give you the win, even with no other abilities

My question is why cant titans use other weapons since they hold them? Like why cant ion just steal someone elses weapon like tones gun or ronins sword? Ions normal weapon kinda sucks

4:00 O-O duuuuuuuuuuude 😋😎 6:00 yes, I always use the Grapple, it's broken in my opinion, great for fast movement, especially upwards, for making U-turns if you need to turn quickly, you can harpoon enemies to pull them towards you, and for attacking by riding enemy titans in a flash

There's a kit for monarch where you steal a doomed titans battery when executing them which heals you, gives you shields and gives progress for core upgrades, it also allows you to roleplay as a crackhead

Holo main here, yeah I kinda don't ever use abilities like Grapple, Stim, or Phase-- They're good and I respect a good pilot with them but like there's just something so fun about misdirecting a titan while whittling away at their health around cover and coming up with a new strategy to confuse them every turn. Stacking Novas and having a total of 12 pilots all fall to the ground after a titan eject is extremely fun.

I don’t get the tone hysteria. Tone is honestly easy to play against if they aren’t a tf2 god (which most tone players aren’t). Tones only source of measurable damage is the rockets. Literally just count the locks or simple look when the “enemy titan locking” text appears and pull up your shield for a quarter of a second when she shoots the rockets. The only titans that have a right to complain about tone are northstar and monarch, but tbh they shouldn’t be getting close to tone in the first place and should instead wait for an opening at long range. Even scorch beats tone imo. A good scorch can shoot thermite around the tone wall and force tone into the open or to run away. There are genuinely so many effective ways to counter tone.

I love the titanfall titans. I think they all flow together so nicely in combat. Even tone.

Grapple is better than stim, you can reach the same speed but you also can have vertical mobility with grapple, grappling a titan automatically embarks/climbs to it you can also grapple to other pilots. It is a must have in the map Rise since you need to go up to touch the corridors The only downside is the long cooldown but that could be negated with gun mods.
