THIS IS A JOKE ...ActionAid used to not care about FGM when I wanted to help do something about this 50 years ago!!!!. It was considered too CULTURALLY SENSITVE. No matter WHO you wrote to ...no one wanted to know. They stopped foot binding in China over one hundred years ago yet no one does anything about this abomination!

Can our academic institutions like Makerere, Kyambogo, Mbarara, Gulu Universities and others design knowledge banks and courses on how our students can be able to assess and develop Carbon Asset projects with verifiable standards?

Agroecology may only be successful on small scale farms. It may not be practical on larger scale farming with a good level of effectiveness. I like the push for financing, but such should be as a drive to promote sustainable business technologies and ideas that present climate smart solutions, with the potential to create positive social, environmental, and economic impacts through cost effective emissions reductions, innovation, financial flows, environmental integrity and so many more. Can we build capacity of our communities, businesses and develop the needed expertise to maximise benefits from article 6 of Paris Agreement? Let's not miss out the way we missed on the opportunities presented by the Clean Development Mechanism.

The anti FGM campaign is a discriminatory one which seeks to save girls at the cost of boys who are the vast majority of victims. It thus undermines the genuine campaign to protect all children against genital mutilation. The cajoling of men and boys into supporting it is the ultimate betrayal of boys. ActionAid promotes genital mutilation.

This is so true!! Reminds me of the Spirit of the law!! The law is more than just a letter or letters if you will that you can manipulate to your will as a government. There is a Spirit behind it which allows men to thrive in their environment and their environment to thrive along side them. While curtailing it or manipulating it, be mindful of the Spirit behind it because that Spirit holds the secret to the development of that people..well said @XavierEjoyi
