Mine the same but only hearing it when I start the engine and do the first run between 30 to 40k and after hearing the grinding noise I wont hear it again not unless I turn of the engine and start it again and will hear again the grinding noise on the firstt 30 to 40k again.

I have same problem with Ford Figo 2011. Engine revvs as I press brake and clutch and stopping becomes difficult.

We all need to write to the agency in charge of making recalls so they can make Toyota fix the issue my truck has 300 miles and it’s doing it I had it for almost a month I got it zero miles also how about the rpms issue

Although I got mine pre owned, it is 2016 with only 60,000 miles on mine and it’s sad to see and hear it

My 2017 manual TRD off road just develop a squeaky noise on the leaf springs. Has 40 k milles on it.

My Tacoma is only 12 months old and sounds worse than Grammy's car.

Toyota has a technical service bulletin out for the rear leaf spring insulator pads, if its only a couple years old im sure it has a warranty the dealership will gladly service the problem

The Toyota dealership replaced my leaf springs on a recall or campaign (cannot remember which). They just did it last winter and now I have the same sound as you. I do put quite a lot of miles on my truck every year. Its ridiculous and irritating. Guess i have to call the stealership again... not my favorite place

I have this problem with my 2014 Lifted Silverado with 47,000. So annoying and cannot find the exact spot. Guess i have to spray the shit out of leafs

I have a 2007 tacoma with 254k on it. It just started squeaking. It sounds about the same as yours. It's super annoying and will be phoning toyota about this issue.

Toyota corporate said that Toyota designed this vehicle to squeak like a hookers old rusty mattress. It is not a defect as they said verbatim and almost nobody out there has this issue. (not my words, Toyota Corporate's representative). I hate that Toyota thinks they can lie straight to our faces and say that this is not a problem and that it is perfectly normal.

Same squeaking issue here on my 2017 Tacoma with 11K miles. Dealer in Des Moines, IA refused to replace due to my aftermarket lift. They lubricated the leaf springs for a temporary fix. I've heard this is not the solution as it will trap dirt making it worse. Have had numerous jeeps/trucks with lifts and never had this issue. Toyota needs to own up to this issue like they've had to before with their poor quality leaf springs.

this happened to my 2015 at less than 5k miles. Had the dealership warranty and replace both leaf springs. Noise came back after another few thousand miles. super annoying!

Same thing on my 2017 Tacoma..,.. They are replacing the leaf springs. Truck only has 2500 miles!!!

spray lythium grease in bettween the leafs mostly on rubber spacers, not necesarelly all along the leaf, completely solved my problem! lasts for weeks and wont be washed out easily. sorry for any spelling mistakes english isn't my mother language.

I'm literally at Price Toyota in Delaware right now and have told them about this every time I've come in for my 5k oil change and they act like I'm hearing things. Half these people working here know less about cars then I do, that's a bad sign.

Mine does this as well I brought it to Toyota many times being told the same thing as you! I called Toyotas corporate number to complain they sent a representative to me and had the dealership replace everything in my rear suspension! The noise came back about 3 weeks later! At this point I'm going to be selling mine for something better!

I have a 2017 Tacoma and mine just started squeaking about 2 weeks ago at about 6200 miles. Yet another annoying problem that Toyota don't care about. Mine also has a bad rear differential that's been humming since I bought the truck and Toyota says it's normal. So what is not normal to Toyota? I will never buy a Toyota again. I should have just bought an old used truck. I'm embarrassed of my 2017 Tacoma.

I'm in the same boat here. Truck has 19k. 2016 Access Cab 4WD. I'm on my 3rd set of leafs. Really awful noise. Now there is a fix for the 04-11 mode years. They say to hoist the vehicle from a point that takes the weight and tension of suspension components till the gap above the leafs is exposed and slip a rag in there.... I have a service appointment tomorrow. Will mention the pushrod bushing idea

That turnaround would have made a heck of a camping spot.
