Why not just try and be like yourself? Find your own style? Carter was his own man as you already know. Lots of guys try to be Floyd Mayweather nowadays and fail miserably.. Hurricane Carter is a hard act to follow... He was genetically gifted with explosive power and reflexes.. plus he had that Nasty aggressive edge you dont see anymore.. My point is without sounding patronising... Your style has to fit around your emotional state does that make sense? Tyson, Duran, Hurricane, GMan... All had a Mean character and there style fitted to it hence why they were so exciting to watch... Do you have that same trait? are you a competitive boxer? 👊🔥👊

I totally agree with you, I’m 18, so I am young and am figuring out who I want to be in life, too. I don’t want to be a prizefighter, at least not in this era.

The worst decision Carter ever lost was in court. One of the few times I've ever been so ashamed of our government and opened my eyes to our horrible criminal injustice system. Our criminal justice system is nothing more than job security and a lavish meal ticket for the judges and lawyers.......
In Canada it’s no different. From day one I knew Carter was innocent in 1966.

George Chuvalo hardly ever cut, but he did swell, thus his condition at the end of the fight, Quarry, after all, could punch. However, to say Chuvalo 'lost' this fight, or was not doing well, is not accurate. He was strong and aggressive, moving forward and landing thunderous body shot combinations to Quarry for seven round, non stop. Witness early in the Seventh the body work by George. And, finally a signature George Chuvalo left hook to the temple. A typical Chuvalo win. Good win.
