This well-maintained blueberry operation rests just 30 minutes south of Oregon’s Capital Salem. Located just outside of the city of Jefferson with easy access to Interstate 5.
Comprised of 66 acres with 50 acres in mature blueberries. Varietals include Duke, Legacy and Blue Ribbon. The berries are between eight and sixteen years old and planted at a density of 1,452 plants per acre, all berry blocks are trellised with steel post, fruiting wires, drip irrigation and weed-block matting.
The berries have been professionally managed and yields are approximately 15,000 pounds per acre. Harvested primarily for the fresh market, they can be sold into the frozen market as well.
Water rights are certified and two on-site wells provide plenty of water. This farm is further improved by an equipment storage building, tool shed and graveled parking area.
Blueberries are a solid investment and demand for fruit is growing. The existing farm manager is available or an owner-operator could take over operations.
