Nintendo and Switch MUST add this game! Had it in the mid 2000s and sold it, ugh, this is a diamond in the rough and worth getting again!

I actually really like the story and character designs in this game (as well as pretty much everything else about it). Pretty much the only thing I didn’t like was the difficulty, but even that can be mitigated for most of it because the game will offer you a handicap if you lose the same battle enough times (with the exception of mission battles and nighttime battles with criminals). I’d love to see it get more attention, and I’d especially like to see it get released on newer systems, and maybe even a sequel.

The weird thing is for me: before I watched the likes of G4 (X-Play, Electric Playground) and AVGN, I think it was Toonami that showed me the concept of game reviews. And the more I think about it, Toonami showed more respect to Nintendo during the GameCube than most of the press ever did (especially X-Play, whom earlier this year, damn near everyone questioned their reviewing skills on anything).

I wish I had gotten this game when it first came out. Bloodstained was a good substitute but I still want to play Order of Ecclesia.

The review itself does not talk about how difficult the gameplay is compare to Xtreme Beach Volleyball. It definitely require more skills and time to invest to master the games and collect Zack money effectively.

Nobody's gonna see this but I played this game at 19 and it saved my life. There's better persona games, and better reasons to live than "video game good", but I was so horribly depressed and convinced that my problems were eternal, and this game convinced me that games still matter, and that one day I'm gonna make them. Also Kanji fuckin rules.

Why is this captured footage of the remake, which is widescreen, in 4:3 fullscreen?

It's such a tragedy that three Castlevania games had to be released for DS. I wish these were all on a PS2 or PS3 compilation disc. I actively avoid collecting for my DS systems because I do not enjoy the physical experience of holding DS handhelds in my hands. The floppy top screen feels weighty, the double screen gimmick is just that, and using a stylus and touch screen controls has only ever irritated me. The least they could have done is release these for PSP, which can at least use an adapter to play on a TV. Now these games are locked in history as overpriced DS games.

Ost wasn’t bad but battle themes could’ve been a lot better. Even GX battle themes were decent. Fantastic game though

Honestly Toonami whould have gotten much luck in that time as a part of Adult Swim and broadcasting Naruto uncut, Rave Master uncut, Prince of Tennis uncut, Dragon Ball gt uncut, Dragon Ball Z uncut and much other series than being the target of censorship. I know that some movies were broadcasted uncut but the 90% of the content was edited in a bad way.
