Michael, I'm really enjoying these podcasts!! You also have a very soothing and kind voice, and its nice to listen to. I have an idea for a future podcast, if you'd like. A lot of us struggle with organizing our thinking: with prioritizing key concepts, and fitting ideas together in orderly ways that flow. Some of us, too, have added neurologival wiring issues with auditory processing or language processing expression which can bungle our communication on those ideas. Or we have so much we want to say in the moment, and when we speak it can come out as a bit of an incoherent word salad! "Clutter stuttering" is one way in which this comes out. Not all neurodivergent people struggle with these issues, but a lot of us do. I'd love to hear your thoughts on organized thinking and fluent speech, if you were at all interested in making them topics for a future podcast. And again, thank you for your channel. The insights from this have given me a lot of lightbulb moments this week. I feel more freed, more capable, from a lot of what you've said. I just bought your book, and I'm excited to get into it!

Sunlight is one of the crucial things of adhd. I am from the middle east and after moving to europe i started feeling derealized and out of focus. Note that the change wasn’t instant it was gradual. When i moved to a warm climate. It was hell since i needed weed to stay sane. However, going out more and getting a lot of sun(especially if you have melanin) actually helps you a ton. Libido Focus Recovery Contentment.

It’s really interesting to understand that gathering is a form of “hunting”… to follow birds to find nests (eggs)… to follow bears to find berries and honey… to find wood dry enough for fire… to find herbs that heal… to know what kills… to finds foods that taste nice together… all forms of hunting just not of sentient beings with blood. It’s also good to know that even when sentient beings were hunted, many tribes honored the animals deeply and were grateful to them. Killing wasn’t take as a sport so much as something necessary for survival and an unfortunate thing that had to be done. Essentially there was empathy for the animals and gratitude/connection to them as fellow sentients. As someone who stopped eating meat in 5th grade because I loved animals so much and saw them as beings just like us just born into different bodies, it helps me to understand a hunter doesn’t mean someone devoid of feeling and warm spiritual fellowship with animals ~ hunting was for literal survival and also understanding that gathering is also a form of hunting… just of food and medicine and wisdom 💜

Guys, am an adult female with ADHD and have recently discovered your podcast. I must say your voice, your content and the choice of words, how the content is structured and just the very tone of the podcast is so soothing. Listening to your podcast is so easy and actually joyful for me, and it’s not something that I take lightly at all. I usually don’t listen to the podcasts at all, but I am really enjoying listening to yours. Big hug! I am in CET time zone so can’t join you for the upcoming workshop though.

Have been stuck with some decisions for over 15 years (too embarrassed to even mention this). I want to move to another country closer to family so my kids and I can feel more belonged but I just struggle with taking the step. Im scared I might regret, I might not like it, my kids and husband might not like it then blame me for this decision, Im just not sure why its taking me forever. I will def regret this when I get older and its gonna feel painful 💔 I was just diagnosed with ADD and all my daily struggles now make sense. I am soo close to take the step to move, I just need to do it. Pray for me

Hallo Michael, thank you for your help in this topic! I second all tactics you mention here. I am a listener of your podcast, I appreciate your content. If I may say something to improve it, I would say please shorten it. You do tend to repeat the same ideas several times and as a result, the listen becomes much longer and...you can guess it....attention goes down the drain. Remember that your listeners have probably ADHD , so....being short and concise is the name of the game 🙂 as I side note: I confess that I myself am verbose and repeat things so...I know is not easy but please keep this in mind! I could not get to the end of this episode for this reason. Thank you again for your dedication to this important subject!
