I'm going to share an all natural bug repellent that helped me a lot during fly season. It's safe to use on your family milk cow and easy to make. You can also safely use it on your clothing. I will never use strong toxic chemicals on my cows again after putting together this recipe. I hope it helps you as much as it has helped me. #allnaturalflyrepellent #familymilkcow #farmsteading #naturalho...

Good morning, is the bird flu affecting the farm? I'm hearing that it's not going away soon.

Thank you. Both sets of grandparents raised chickens and yep, they were definitely pasture raised. You can taste the difference in the eggs. So much better.
@@dianamayfield5615 yes indeed!
The vegetarian feed on the pastured eggs probably refers to supplemental feed that they're given in addition to what they eat on the ground. Yes, why does it have to be 'vegetarian' ? The food from the ground is usually not enough for them, I would imagine. Pretty difficult to know what kind of ground they're walking around on or the nutrition they get from it, though. Stay away from conventionally raised chickens and eggs - tortured unhealthy animals.
@@john99776 it is referring to the diet they are receiving, my point is, it seems silly, since they are omnivores.
eggs sold at sprmkt -yolk is different sizes- not all large eggs! ? great video.
@@rayvin357 thanks!
I love the name of your page here.
@@joeblow1934 thank you! It is our business name as well. For a couple years I struggled to come up with a farm name. And just like that it came to mind out of the blue one day.
I have been specifically looking for and purchasing Pasture Raised eggs for a few months now. If you have a regular egg and a pasture raised egg and crack them both open you will see an insane amount of color difference between the two. The pasture raised eggs were almost orange in color vs the regular one that was a very pale yellow color. HUGE difference and personally, I am more than happy to pay the extra $ for the pasture raised ones. I feel I'm getting way more protein value for my money. Excellent information in this video!
@@barbara31655 thank you! I hope you find the right farmer 😊

When I was a teenager, we raised a few chickens for meat and eggs. Eventhough they got what the feed store said was the best feed for chickens, and plenty of it, they used to luv catching a Garter Snake, killing it, and eating it. Chickens are definitely onmivores.
@@CricketsBay yes, lol! Thanks for the story 😊
Hi Connie! Great information, thank you!!! 😊
You're welcome ❤
I remember a couple years ago I was driving past, just at the right second to see the Turkeys break their fence. It was the week before Thanksgiving. They knew. It was funny to see and a bit sad. I love their roost structure, like a turkey tree! I love what you're doing and look forward to supporting you more, I was unsure what exactly was available since I don't get around much. Its daunting just to make the simple trip required, this video makes it less so. It shouldn't be daunting at All, but it is what it is😃🧡
You can look at our website too 😊 i have our poultry products listed with prices
Excellent! Thanks, I'll be down soon. I stopped eating a lot of meat because I don't trust any of it. Not being able to work for the past few years put me on food stamps, but things got a bit better recently and I have a little more money to work with. I grab your eggs if I remember! That has to turn back into a habit, now that I don't have any chickens, coyotes got every last one, when they were at my BF's house a few years back. I haven't seen any coyotes here, since you got the dogs👍👍 I DO keep seeing a Cat-tailed Fox! It must be mangey because its tail has no fluffy fur. I see it stalking around, heading your way sometimes.
here in Kommifornia the chickens are cage free, and very expensive I eat my laying hens but they are tough every year good for soup not much else
Hello can you make a video in full length about a cow milking by machine please please❤
Hello! I do have a couple, look in my library and see 😊
I wish all meats were raised properly so even the poorest among us could eat healthy.
I wish grain prices were more affordable, then everyone could afford it 😢. it's a corrupt food system.
You kinda told your husband which was yours by saying you can tell the difference on his first bite- I think he totally overreacted to the second one considering he knew which was which. Dogs don’t care- meat is meat!
🤔 ok....
I bet Rob is a Fire Sign or has a lot in his chart. They tend to have more amusing reactions. My ex, also a Rob, was the same way and I bet he'd have been able to tell as well, without the inadvertent "hint." I can't stop tasting Christmas Trees every time I eat a mango now!😂 Can you disclose Rob's birthday, if you see this y'all?
God bless you too! I’ll be coming by in the next day or so for some eggs and chicken 😊
