    Your film is excellently filmed, edited and soundtracked. However, your explanation of the seasons is complicated and incorrect. We have four seasons like everyone but because we are in the Southern Hemisphere they come at opposite times of the year. Our climate is humid subtropical, meaning warm winters and hot summers. The map of the world with the Northern Hemisphere at the bottom of the world is meant to be a joke. You were seriously misinformed when you were told there is not much to see in Sydney. As your film shows, it is one of the most scenic cities in the world.

    • @JustBecauseCity
      @JustBecauseCity หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you for your comment. I believe I represented the seasons correctly-summer is summer, and winter is winter, it’s warm in the winter and cold in the summer (well, not as cold as where I live). However, I’m still not sure if I am wrong about the map. It would be interesting to hear from people whose kids are currently in school-do they have a map with the northern hemisphere at the bottom or not?

    • @grahamwilcox7402
      @grahamwilcox7402 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, it is fair to say that we have a good all year round climate. Not as extreme as most countries. That map was done as a joke by an Australian because Australians do get tired of people saying we are at the bottom of the world. There is no top or bottom. That saying leads to Australia being called "Down under", which is not popular here. No school would ever have that map without telling kids that there is no top or bottom of the world. To clarify about the trams in Sydney. Overhead wires spoil the landscape where trams run. At a greater expense Sydney chose to have no overhead wires only from Circular Quay to Town Hall. From there the power is provided by pads on the road between the rails.

    Your statements of the various facts and figures are somewhat off, from where did you source these? They also seem out of date .Was it a pro Melbourne written one based in Victoria. Sydney has always been the Premier, outstanding city of Australia, Melbourne can never compare with its natural beauty nor its strength of character., no matter how hard it tries .It may be catching up to its population numbers, it might surpass it after some more years go by. It is letting in Dans friends in from the Land of the CCP, in great numbers. The CBD of Melbourne may contain more skyscrapers then Sydney CBD downtown area, but this is not all of what makes up our total office areas, These stretch across the harbour, to its north side, Milsons Point North Sydney. Crows Nest. St Leonards and Chatswood. Then there are the IT area of Macquarie Park area .Sydney also has a place named Parramatta, which is now the domestic CBD of New South Wales, and Sydney, with Sydney being the International hub. There are also places like Hurstville Bankstown and Liverpool, Campbelltown and Penrith along with Gosford, that carry many office towers and large complexes , Like the Norwest Buisness Park. Huntington, Eastern Creek, Erskine Park, Silverwater, St Marys, Brookvale, Dozens of other like kind industrial areas of considerable size. Thanks so much, Galina. Your vlog is the best of Sydney I've viewed, and I've watched many. I, too, am from NJ and making my first visit to Sydney this winter. I appreciate that you've covered more than the usual sttractions. Thanks again and I i look forward to more of your informative vlogs. Cheers!

    I'm a Sydney-sider and have lived here my whole life. But I learned some useful facts about labels on our plants in our parks 😃 And, yes I love my beautiful city - but your videography was excellent and made it look even more gorgeous! Thank you and Happy Travels
