Hello ! Friends , I believe in previous vlog you have seen Vlog about the Grand Bazaar of Tehran , and you may have got the glimpse of the prices of the Prices of Bazaar of Tehran , Iran also you may also experienced the Hukkah culture of Iran . As I have ended last vlog after catching the Bus from Meydan e Azadj Terminal of Tehran towards Tonekabon.
In this vlog as I will be introducing you with the local Iranian girl from Ishfahan but recently she shifted to Tonekabon because of the nature around and the Caspian Sea view . If you are planning to explore the north of Iran or cities close to Caspian Sea , You can take the Buses available from Meydan e Azadi Terminal of Tehran or the trains are also available for different locations of North of Iran . As Indian and Iranian girl was talking since long time over messages and meeting for first time today.
As after coming out of the Bus I dropped my Luggage into the car of my friend and then start exploring the Caspian Sea around. For your trip to Iran planning must be very important as if you are visiting during summer then north of Iran would be the best time to explore around . As North of Iran is also very popular among local tourists around this time . Tonekabon, city close to Caspian Sea is famous for the Jungle around .
After meeting we decided to sit in some cafe so we started finding it out but Iran girl forget the way to go there and Indian was trying to do some adventure around to climb the rocks and go to the nearest rocky shore of Caspian Sea . As in my previous vlog you might have seen that I have visited Caspian Sea of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan. So this time it was through the Iran side . The coastal border of Iran with Caspian Sea is around 750 kms . Caspian Sea is the Largest lake in the world . It’s like a basin which is filled by different rivers around . The biggest river of Europe named as Volga river accounts for its 80 percent of the water .
After another drive of few mins she remembered the way for the beautiful cafe and the name of the Cafe was Kourosh Sea Cafe . The name Kourosh is actually taken from the King of Kings : Cyrus the great who formed the Achaemenid Empire in 550 BC . It was one of the biggest empire of that time . Actually ‘ Kourosh ‘ means ‘ From the Sun or ‘ For the Sun ‘ .
We ordered for the Biscuit milk shake and Carrot cake , maybe I was eating Carrot cake for the first time . The total cost was around 4 dollars. Indian boy & Iranian girl had several talks about each other culture and traditions and also questioned what Iranian girl know about India .
As about the cities close to Caspian Sea which you can explore area Chalus which is only around 120 kms from Tehran or also can consider Ramsar , Iran which is also very popular among domestic tourists because of availability of Hot springs , Jungle and Castle . Caspian Sea is having its biggest coastline with Kazakhstan with almost 1400 kms . Caspian Sea is being shared by 5 countries as named as Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Russian , Iran & Turkmenistan .
Iran girl told to Indian boy that boys can normally take bath in shorts in the beach but the girls usually wear T-shirt with pants & some women or girl wear Manto ( Loose long sleeve Shirt for women which covers till their buttocks ) or with Hijab / Scarf .
And in the case of Wedding culture of Iran usually wedding takes place in two separate halls or floors for Male or Female where eating and Dancing arrangements are completely separate and when groom want to visit the bride or have to come to the females floor then there is an announcement that Groom is coming so wear Hijab or maintain their clothes so those who wants to do they will do accordingly.
