I totally agree with that view. That’s why I won’t take anything past 30. I know they won’t probably come in that close but I also just want to get a feel for being out in a real hunt if that makes sense
All of my kids had to be able to put 5 arrows in a playing card at 40yds with the last two shots being held for 30 seconds and then 60 seconds before they could hunt. This feat is not easily accomplished but we live by the belief that 60-70% of anything that we do is in the preparation to be able to accomplish the 30-40% of the actual action within which we are doing. Football games are won on the practice field and hard shots are made by putting in the arrows down the range. Good luck this year
Hey man it’s looking good but big thing I saw was with your release. I would advise to not treating it like a trigger because that long swing you make with your finger before the release can play a significant roll in accuracy. Try practicing tension training with the release, loosing the arrow with your back shoulder and wrist instead of your finger. Your hand should fly back from the energy release. Big thing for hunting in constancy where you can train it. Last thing you want to do is maim the animal. Be safe and have fun!
Solid! It looks like you are leaning back a bit at full draw (you want your shoulders centered right over your hips) which can mean your drawlength is too long. I think your consistency would sky rocket 🚀 if you shorten it by an inch :). Also, you could try filming yourself in a birdseye view from behind. Doing this can help you see if your draw arm forearm is in line with your arrow shaft. It’s better to be compressed than too expanded IMO. Getting better fast man! Keep it up!
Pull straight lower poundage elbow parallel practice your form don’t aim work on form first be consistent in it then shoot the hell out of it welcome to the brotherhood my friend you’ll be broke chasing deer but there’s nothing like it
Doing great! Just shooting will help with a lot of the things I see. Maybe lower the draw weight a little so you aren’t straining so much pulling back until you get more comfortable. Aside from that, a lot of things should just fix themselves as you practice more
Are you hunting Arkansas or missouri those are the only 2 I know are in season
No I am in MN! Our season opens Sept 14!

Thank you for the advice! I will try to really be cognizant of that and work on that for my next session in a few days!
Ok thank you for the advice! I will try all that my next session!

There's nothing like a beautiful snowy winter. Soft serene cold unreal ... unless it lasts too long past Spring.
They were running from right to left through the woods
