When is the last time they used that tractor? Make sure it takes all gears. Run it long enough to see if it will over heat and leak oil any where. I love the quad ranges. Cheaper to work on versus a power shift Just some tips bud. I’m a JD mechanic

U can unscrew that on top of the steering wheel and the wheel will extend out and u have a lever down that the bottom to let it up and down

You right bro! That’s the 4630 engine. 4630s came with the intercooler and 4430s didn’t. The engines in the 30 series were 404s vs 466s that started in the 40 series tractor like the 4640 and 4840. Also, we’ve got a 12 row soybean special on a 6 row bar that needs boxes and meters. The plant itself is solid though. We’d let it go for cheap just to see someone get some use out of it. We hadn’t used it since 2022.

If you can get that chisel plow or allperpus plow behind the tractor it will break up the crust and help with the surface water.
