I never got on the upside down rides but I used to stand in line to collect all the change that fell out of everyone’s pockets when I as I kid. Nobody uses cash much anymore or id probably give it another try, given the current economy 😉

Used to follow John Walter shaws Easy rider.. how it’s changed .. just couldn’t be doing with all the punters wondering about the platform.. give me the sight of a gaff lad getting on and off with swagger any day…. Maybe it’s the soundtrack makes it seem kinda sinister.. for me , Better with some 70s .. Happy teenage years wouldn’t change a minute..That said they are giving the youngsters what they want now..or were….bet it ain’t allowed now ..can you even stand on a run up now..

The "Flying Circus" is the most beautiful, elegant & sophisticated ride of all time IMHO! It is the most sublime feat of design & engineering, while also looking solid, very stable & most importantly safe. I have never had the joy of riding her though, but if she had been around when I was in my 20's I most certainly would have. (Today I would need valium first! LOL!) It is such a shame that she is no longer manufactured, & I would love to know the reason why. Are there any operating in the world today? ( I would not really expect so as she is 27 years old as of 2024) But WOW! What a gorgeous machine!! x
