this one in particular has a 4d jet so it does spinwashes but every bosch does spinwashes on drum clean program!

The temperature selection in increments of 10 is really nice and it's annoying how most machines don't give you that anymore, yet you can still find a variable selector on the entry level Indesits 😂 The machine is brilliant with rinsing, and selecting the WaterPlus option through the app just adds to that. Very generous water levels and, if PowerRinse is selected, multiple rinses, far more than any previous model I have owned :)

Tell me about it 😂 It was definitely a decision I had to think about carefully with how much these units cost, but given the volume of laundry inside this house and the amount of cycles we do, even with keeping on top of cleaning and maintenance, I knew it was finally time for an upgrade. Everyone is at home from work right now due to Christmas break, so filming a full cycle is near impossible in the immediate future, BUT I will upload as many different shorts as I can, and I'll film a full cycle as soon as I get the opportunity 😄

both powerspeed 59' and mytime are siemens's features, of course they wouldnt exist on bosch. just use mix as a 1 hour cycle it is WAY better than powerspeed 59'

@@washerenjoyer powerspeed 59 used to be available on previous Bosch series 8 models so I assumed it would be on the new. Yes mix works well as a daily/all-in-one/absolute wash on all levels (providing load isn’t heavily stained or soiled)

@@Benbowrainbow Hey! Thanks for your comments :) I know what you mean about the balancing. It is definitely a fussy machine and sometimes rebalances perfect load distributions, but given how it washes I'll let that slide 😂 Regarding the Power speed 59 programme, I tend to find that choosing other parameters with the Super quick 30 programme can bring it close to 1 hour which is nice! Unfortunately, I don't know how many machines it's affected, but I've seen on TH-cam and on the internet, examples of the Siemens machines failing to stop spinning on the final spin of the 59' programme, but I'm hoping this has been fixed now, or soon, with a software update 😎

@ oh we probably dodged a bullet there then perhaps! Like you say the wash quality is fantastic and it’s fast and efficient. I’ve found that if no major stains, mixed load prg can get through as much (if not more) as powerwash in the same time and even delicates cycle uses 4D jet system so you’d be surprised at how efficient washing and rinsing is (I use the no spin option (+mini load sometimes) and then run a separate spin 1000-1400 for heavier items) Also I actually prefer the styling on the Bosch compared with the Siemens, and it’s better not to have the dial that protrudes out if like us it’s near a cupboard or back door like mine. Btw I had an app issue recently where the drum clean programme dropped off but I emailed customer support and they eventually fixed the bug - but very frustrating as I had to deregister and reinstall everything several times! 😤😂

and why should the drum rotate in the other direction if the laundry is already well distributed? I have the previous top version of Bosch Home Professional and I did not notice that the washing machine did not rotate the drum in both directions when distributing the load.

@bartk4458 it often isn’t well distributed and I’ve often witnessed Bosch machines attempt distribution in one direction multiple times (sometime for up to 10 mins), only to find when I press pause to open the door and manually turn in the opposite direction it distributes well straight away spins smoothly

@@Benbowrainbow I don't know the problem, everything has been perfect for me for over 8 years. Failure-free operation without any repairs. maybe older models worked more efficiently.

@@MLaundry2025 Siemens has a specific waterjet cycle called powerspeed59, does bosch have that as well through the app? I'm wondering when the washer uses the waterjet (4d system) and when not. Feels like it isnt using it on the cotton cycle, or am i wrong? (wondering if it has to do with temperature or load capacity)

@TaelonSHU Hey! Thank you so much for your comment. Regarding the Cotton cycle, I'm really not sure but I will get back to you on that. What I have definitely seen though is that it uses the recirculation jet *a lot* on the Mixed Load cycle and both Super Quick cycles. Even when the load is low, the jet recirculates whatever water is in the drum and the clothes are constantly saturated 😎

@@MLaundry2025 thanks for the answer, yeah i saw a cycle a fast/mix load with intense plus(+30m washing) and siemens powerspeed59. Based on that it seems very similarly. The mix load uses water jet more and does 2 longer rinses while powerspeed does 3 short rinses. I guess powerspeed59 is more marketing against miele and aeg powerwash 49/59 cycle and siemens/bosch have a perception of a bit longer cycles on cotton (when you dont use variospeed) Im getting the newer version of the bosch, theirs some changes it touch screen extra option but they're probably the same through the app.

I'm the person that commented saying I was looking at buying the machine, and I finally did 😂 It was your videos that helped convince me.
