My sister & me were there for 6 months in the early 80’s. They called our buildings cottages lol. I was put in buckeye cottage with the youngest girls since I was the youngest girl when I first arrived. I was only 13 years old. I have a lot of memories from there. 😆

Grew up on a boat every weekend as a kid at alum creek . Loved it and miss boating. I keep saying someday I will get a boat and sleep on it every summer weekend at alum

Was here in 2007 before going to Paint creek in Bainbridge. I was 14 on the 17 year old block cause I was so big for my age. Man was it a time. Even tho it’s jail we had a ball in there Cedar Block Boyz !!

Being an adult I can think back to the 60's where being an unruly child by Gov. Rhodes was a bit harsh but I ran away a lot, I remember all the cottage names it was much better than Riverview. Straight up drag turned 18 and I grew up.
