Not all model versions do. My manual says you have to unplug the bike when done using.

All s22i's, which is what this video shows has an on off switch. It's not super easy to find but it has one.

yep, they have an on-off switch indeed. Its kinda silly how nordictrack doesn't put it in a easier location.

Odd I don’t think all models have that switch. Mine doesn’t, it only has the DC plug that you have to plug in and disconnect every time. Odd but oh well

Is yours a new 2021 model, and did you purchase it directly from Nordictrack? I've heard that this new 2021 model has several improvements

Really? Then how would you ever turn it off. There is no ON/OFF switch, so the only other way is to unplug the machine. Same same. If you have another solution, let's hear it, but I doubt it.

@@Colorado.jim47 That's exactly the problem. It's an android OS running lollipop...I hacked into it far enough to see that. That will make it at least somewhat stable against sudden power interruptions but I've chosen to just leave mine on anyway. (We use it daily).

EXACTLY what I worry about, Allen. It's a computer so this worries me every time.

@@ldharr36 Yeap. I have been just leaving mine on since we use it every day. Its a crappy oversight though. There needs to be a software power down procedure. WE need to petition them to add this via software update.

@@Colorado.jim47 15. How to turn off NordicTrack S22i Bike The only way is to unplug the power cord from the wall. One popular suggestion is to use an APC Smart Plug Wi-Fi Power Strip which you can find at Amazon. This one works well with Alexa and provides good surge protection. “Alexa turn off my bike” or “Alexa I’m ready to Ride” There is not an independent power-off button to turn off the Nordictrack S22i touchscreen but if the pedals do not move for several minutes, the screen is not touched, and the buttons are not pressed, the console will automatically turn off. The latest generation of the Nordictrack S22i bike ships with a rectangular-shaped DC power supply with a power cord. Recommend you always unplug the power from the wall, not the bike but with a power strip you can just switch it off. On some of older the models there is a power off button on the S22i.
