I’ve got one and it’s a nail driver. Tough little gun, it spent about 10 years in the evidence locker at the Sheriff’s office 😂 I got in a little trouble with it when I was younger and part of my pre trial program I had to surrender the gun and I could get it back after I competed everything. I was then told they destroyed everything in evidence and my gun was gone. Well, about 10 years later I got to talking to someone that worked at the sheriffs office and they said they haven’t destroyed any evidence in 15 years so I had them check for my rifle and sure enough it was there, got my paperwork from the DA’s office and was able to pick it up the next week.

On my rifle the mag rod will somehow turn and spring open causing the .22 shells to fall out. The rod will fall out also. Why?

That is why I have a laser sight on mine. Makes the point and shoot very easy.... and thus, great for home defense.

Why did your slide lock back after your first two shots ?

It's a cheap point blank or backup mouse gun guys, maybe 5 yards if you're a decent shot

Have two of each, and a third 16" barrel heritage just for the bang flag to hang on. Mine have all performed well, great for 22's rugers are tighter tolerances and less slop/movement, but all of them are fun little plinkers.. (my favs are still tge original pair of bearcats my dad bought new way back when, tgst sre now worn in slightly past really well after all of us kids shooting thousands of rounds through them). Also must note i did buy avpair of the diamobdback sidekicks as well, and out of the three brands those have been the most problematic.

The Ruger shoots WMR, too. I have the Ruger “Super Wrangler”. It came with the extra 22 WMR cylinder, and I paid $169 for it, new in box.

Nice rifle. I have a model 34 NRA Target model. Love it!! Great little rifles, that you can sometimes find for cheap. I'm going to have to check your comparison video, between this rifle and your winchester.

Get a thunder 380 plus more rounds

Good stuff, ive got a rossi 92 20 inch stainless in 45 colt, love that thing. Im actually gonna try huntin with mine this year, probably start tomorrow lol, i got some underwood ammo 300 grain plus p jacketed hollow points, it aughtta do the trick. I found from switching from my normal 250 to 255 grain cowboy loads to those 300 grainers it was only one notch down for elevation. 300s are the bottom step and cowboy loads are the second step up, pretty wild. I zeroed it within 50 because of my hunting spot, want it dead on at the range, but 50 and in is all gonna be pretty close.

Excellent video and test idea. A constant solid rest may have helped with the drop determination, but a really great test idea.

That gun does ""NOT LIKE" "that drum magazine. You should get the Bersa Thunder Plus 15+1. A little fact you might not know. Every police officer in the U.K. Germany etc. etc. etc. Carry's a 380. Everyone assumes it's a 9mm. But they be dead wrong. The reason James Bond carries a 380 is because of that little known fact. And if they weren't effective vs humans, they would carry something else. People scoff at the 380 round. But in a lot of country's that's all you can buy. Switzerland and the Philippines to name a few. And people get dead there just as fast. And something else most handgun shootings are not a long-distance affair. And at 15-20 feet the 380 shines. I never shoot anything but 100 grain FMJ. And I get them from my local Gunshop.

Years ago, I bought a Navy Arms hawken hunter in .58. It's made for conical with wide shallow grooves.

My results are the same. At 7 yards my point of impact is dead on with both barrels using 45 Long Colt.

I have one of these! the selector is broke, (fires both shots) plastic stock is broken. Glued and taped together.

I've had a TC white mountain since the mid 90's. I shoot TC 240 gr xtp sabot and 80 gr of fffg. Have had nothing but success with this rifle. One of my favorite firearms still today.

How would the people who used muskets daily done it? Exactly how you did it? Standing? Sitting? Kneeling? I doubt it matters especially whenever that weapon was used in war by uneducated illiterate farmers

Mine came with a 13" barrel that is great for transport, but accuracy is poor.

Try your zero at 17 yards should be about should be good from about 10 yards to 35 or so without needing hold over or hold under until you are at just under 40 yards.

The "ball board" is called a loading block by experienced muzzleloaders.

Never from the flask, make a powder measure of the correct charge that hangs upside down from your possible's strap and load from your horn or flask into that. Simple and safe.

Use a 20gr measurer made of deer horn. It's much safer.

Very nice! Ive always wanted a small caliber muzzleloader. I recently repaired my grandpa's old (1850's proof stamps) 10 gauge sxs and took it squirrel hunting and trapshooting. Its so much fun!
