Good camera for 2012 😂😂
Yes, Runway 9 is only used on 2 days a year on average. Very rare.

from melbourne?
The flight was from Melbourne, yeah.
John Aloisi (born 5 February 1976) is a retired Australian football (soccer) player and the manager of A-League club Brisbane Roar. In a professional career that spanned 20 seasons, with league totals of 459 games and 127 goals, he was the first Australian ever to play and score in La Liga, the Premier League and Serie A. He returned to his country in 2007, with four seasons in the A-League. Aloisi was an integral member of the Australia national team for more than one decade, and represented the nation at the 2006 World Cup, being an essential figure in the qualifying stages. He also appeared for the Socceroos in two Confederations Cups. Aloisi was described as a goal poacher who was able to "hold the ball up well and create opportunities for his teammates.
That's cool
in the Second 1.28( Metropolitan Ring Road, Thomastown and Hume Freeway, Thomastown ) i live here now.
GOOD ON YA SON!!!!!
BACK IN 2014!! KENNEDY!!!!
Still brings a smiling tear to the eye along with a chuckle of disbelief.
I'm English but fuck me, what a moment! Loved that Australia team in 2006: Kewell (although starting to decline pretty rapidly), Viduka, Neill but best of all, the Everton legend that is Tim Cahill.
This is the Socceroos, not all the idiots we have playing for us today
The flight was from Sydney.
seems like yesterday
where you was comeing from in this video?
They do go down pretty early don't they. Thx for the comment.
beautiful
haha indeed. My mate sitting next to me gibbering off to the girl sitting next to us the whole way is even louder lol.
Poor kid. There's bound to be a crying kid on most flights
i am thinking of traveling there soon on a BNE-ADL-MEL-BNE run-just for fun haha!
Thanks. It's a good airport to fly in and out of.
Excellent Video! and smooth landing too!
Yeah, maybe it was just a (rare) wind direction. Thanks very much for the comment.
wow! Runway 9! that is extremely rare!
Craig Foster , Classic !! Pretty much went off Bill Lawry heart on your sleeve style . Love that call by those guys :) Wish I was there :)
Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeah ....john... go on boy.... JOHN MY SON! ....Come on Austraya lol Remember that night. After the heartbreak of 1993 in Argentina, 1997 on the field of the MCG, and then those Uruguayan cunts in 2001, it was such a sweet victory.
shame it was not taking off towards you.
ok thanks
Thanks. Nah sorry I don't, only flew out of Maroochydore. Filmed the takeoff but it wasn't good enough to put up.
Great Video!! do you have any sunshine coast landings by any chance?
I would recommend the S2 for sure.
Thx. The flight was from Newcastle NTL.
That could well be the case actually. I used the camera on my HTC Wildfire S, which isn't the greatest at the best of times, but there was some sound distortion when I got close to the window and interior around it. Is the S2 worth getting?
Nice approach, is it Newcastle BEO or NTL?
It sure is! A mate of mine works at the airport, was having lunch at the end of the runway lol.
That's a good position to be in.
Yeah I don't mind some action on the landings either. :-) The cam is just the cam on my phone, a Samsung Galaxy S2, which is a decent 1080P cam similar to the one the iPhone 4S. The sound quality probably isn't great but the vid on the A320 I did the day before had no sound issues at all. I think there just might be a bit of a 'hot spot' bad sound zone if you hold it too close to windows or the interior on phone cams which would have lesser sound quality.
Personally, I enjoy those hair-raising landings! Whilst on holiday in Australia, we flew from Melbourne to Sydney, flying through a thunderstorm and then on finals in some pretty breezy conditions- that was an experience I'll not forget in a hurry! As for the camera, that may be the case. Which camera do you use? :)
Yeah! It did seem fast, if you listen he powers up just after the road too, we came in pretty red hot, thus the long reverse thrust. My missus sitting next to me flies a lot and she said the same thing, that we picked up a lot of speed just before touchdown. The sound is odd, must be holding cam too close to interior trimming, I only get it on Virgin 737s for some reason? lol, Thanks for the comments.
Looked a bit fast on the final approach immediately before touchdown? Anyway, great video! I assume the camera is creating the sci-fi effect from the engines? :)
The volume does seem loud! Same mike and sound settings as normal on camera and editing, I'm finding I often get distortion and noise when seated in that proximity of the 737's, hmm I dunno. Thanks for watching and thanks for the comments Mikey.
lovely weather for flying by the look of things. The volume seems very loud? Anyway nice landing.
