No! If you start the bike in first gear, first of all, you need to pull the clutch lever on your left hand while starting. After that, if you release the lever slowly, it will start moving forward. And then, if you pull the clutch lever again and push the gear lever up (a little harder) It will directly go to the 2nd gear instead of "neutral".
