Masjid al-Qiblatayn
This historically unique mosque holds a special place in Islamic history as the site where the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) received the revelation to change the qibla (direction of prayer) from Jerusalem to Makkah. The mosque is beautifully designed, reflecting its significance, with a spacious and serene environment that invites reflection and prayer.
The simplicity and spirituality of the white exterior and clean interior create a tranquil atmosphere. Masjid al-Qiblatayn is not just a place for prayer but also a connection to a pivotal moment in Islamic history.
Masjid Quba: The First Mosque in Islam
Our journey then takes us to Masjid Quba, the first mosque built in Islam. This sacred site was established by the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) upon his migration to Madinah.
Praying two rak’ahs here is believed to grant rewards equivalent to performing an Umrah, making it a profoundly spiritual experience. The mosque’s serene atmosphere, combined with its rich historical significance, makes it a must-visit for anyone exploring Madinah.
