Hmmm - Well, one thing to note is that Bana isn't actually involved in acquiring the Reliance skill branch. I only mentioned his quest (_Secret Ingredient Hunt_) because it was also unlocked by completing _Pollen Orb Ingredients_. Besides _Pollen Orb Ingredients_ from Dobadoba, Rasha is the only quest-giver that's relevant to Reliance, with _Disinsectization_, _Secret Innovation_, and finally _Avenge a Mamapon's Death_. _Secret Innovation_ and _Secret Ingredient Hunt_ require Cherri and Gadada to be in the affinity chart to unlock, but I'd imagine that you'd have already checked that. Is _Disinsectization_ active? That would block _Secret Innovation_ from being available, though I'd imagine that you'd have already checked that, too. Other than that: I can't say I know what's happening in your game. It's very strange.

@@SadayoshiEntertainment thanks for answering! As I said I have completed “pollen orb ingredients” but I can’t trigger any other quests. I need to check later tonight my affinity chart to see if Cherri and Gadada are there. If not I’d imagine I need to locate them and talk to them… I’ll give feedback tonight after I put kids to bed 😉 Thanks!

I turned off the game and the UI fixed itself; I'm not sure what caused the glitch in the first place and I'm not sure how one would go about fixing it otherwise.

Yeah! There's a pretty good video on Extra Credits that sums it up pretty well; success can always be achieved and all adversity can be overcome with tenacity and patience. And you don't need to change yourself to reach your goal; you just need a new perspective, approach the problem from a new angle, and apply what you already know in a new way. It's actually very zen, in a way.
