When the Iowa Firefighters Association needed a hand disassembling their convention campground in Iowa Falls, Midland Power's employees were eager to help. Supporting local non-profit organizations is part of our ongoing efforts to give back to our communities.

💦 When RotoForm Molding decided to reshore its business from South Africa, the family-owned and family-run company launched a nationwide site search. Thanks to Midland Power's and Corn Belt Power's revolving loan funds, the kayak manufacturer decided to set anchor in Ellsworth, Iowa, where they began producing their innovative Swell Watercraft line of boats earlier this year.

Hi @eartheneyes3006: Actually, Midland recently sent linemen to South Carolina in the wake of Hurricane Helene where they spent a week helping with storm recovery efforts. They were joined by linemen from 10 other Iowa electric cooperatives. Mutual aid is one way we work to uphold the cooperative value of cooperation among cooperatives. @@swellwatercraft327, All you guys did was show some film clips of the process, you did not talk about what we were seeing in those clips. You talked about a Patented hull design, breaking ground on the new plant, the struggles of procuring financing, what it means to the community. If I had only been listening and not watching, I would have no idea this video was about Roto molding. Did you use that term, Rotoform Molding? That is how vague I found this video. I am sure you did, I just do not remember it. and I just watched it again. The video is titled: GET TO KNOW: ROTOFORM MOLDING. 50 years ago I ran a plastic extrusion die for two years. So watching this I kind of understand what the film clips are trying to depict. But if someone ignorant to plastic form saw these clips, I would bet they still do not know what Rotoforming is.

Midland is a joke in my area you charge a membership fee and keep raising it but we get nothing from the membership no rebates for new ac/furnace and other energy saving wish i could get midamerican yall are trash
