I feel like i have a great idea and i have laid out the chapters so i can create a bit of structure. How do i approach if this could have legs and be as great as think it could be?

Thanks for making this video. I think I misunderstood something, though. It was my understanding that Amazon took , 40% which included cost of print. Then I thought I cleared 60%. Found out that no. They took 40 and then took the print cost out of royalties. I wanted to vomit when I saw my royalties. I've lost two-thirds off of the price, and I haven't even paid taxes yet. Thank you.

Idk if you respond to old videos. But im just wondering bc i have never written a story before, only imagined, and noted down. Only a couple days ago i realised that i want to give writing my first novel a go. But i have such a big creative mind that 1 day in of planning i have already thought too big. Like the idea i have is multiple books. I'm 12 chapters in. Such an underrated read, holy crap, where has this book been my entire adult life?!

I have a couple of questions. In the beginning one introduces the characters and the challenges they face. The end is them solving the challenges. But it's the middle where they are figuring out the challenges. How do you keep that from turning into a "wash, rinse, repeat" scenario? Second, how do you keep the story under your control? Occasionally the story takes on a life of its own and starts moving in a direction you don't want. How do you stop that from happening?

Is writing romance these days also useful to earn (more) money?

My gf is really into these books, she started reading the first one to me, at least a chapter a night. Keep in mind I’ve never read a spice book and the only series I’ve read is dune by frank herbert. It is a nice world so far but I will admit I am nervous for the spice portion.

On a fait un truc similaire, on a acheté quelques nourriture par le casinos plus proche, le poulet, jus, pain, bruschetta et aussi un petit tarte au citron, nous nous sommes assis sur la plage sans natte et avons mangé. C'était glorieux.

I don’t really know who to ship more because obviously in ODW Ravyn & Elspeth were absolute goals 🥵 but in TTC their relationship was REALLY put on the back burner. I agree that Elm and Ione are just the cutest thing and are also goals aswell but to compare them is impossible because they got so much book time in TTC 😭 HOT TAKE: One thing about TTC that left me unsatisfied were *parts* of the epilogue. I LOVED the happy ending with everyone still being alive and everything but I don’t know it just felt too perfect? In my head I had two visions: V1: Happy reunited ending with everyone (with a negative aspect). Literally anything to make it not all perfect happy and giddy OR V2: If we’re really going down the tie a bow on all loose ends route in the epilogue maybe fast forward 1-3 years and make it so either R + E or E + I has some cute little children or BOTH I don’t know that would have been my perfect ending. That ending would already be much better compared to what we have as it would already self imply that Elm & Ione have taken the throne together and guaranteed married. ANYWYAS ENOUGH RANT Let me know what u think

When it comes to making your book available on Unlimited can you change that later at a different time to allow you to expand the reach of your ebooks? I know a few authors that are trying to encourage me. But I see some of the struggles they experience with KDP. And as a new soon to be author I feel I will NEED kindle unlimited to get that wider teach and readers easier access to my books. But I would not want that to be permanent.

But yes, love this review, I honestly thought the end got confusing hectic and random, this helped 😭😂
