My friend just bought this home. It is probably going to end up at around 3million by the time they finish the pool and yard. They did upgrades inside too. Toll Brothers builds the model home to “inspire.” You end up at double the price. 😮

As expected the model homes were done to a very high standard. $200k+ in options for each. We looked at move-in ready also over the weekend and they were curiously missing some relatively inexpensive options like central great room outlet and gas line for a grill. Pennies for Toll to build into the slab, impossible to add now. Almost everything else can be remodeled to upgrade flooring, kitchens, bathrooms...but once the slab is poured that is what you will have.

But it's still hot so no thank you

Not a fan of seeing the kitchen, bedrooms or bathrooms next to the front entrance. I prefer a bigger foyer and some type of sitting room (living room, library or even an office) off of the main entrance of a home. Why? You never know who is entering into your home, if you don't really know them. Bedrooms next to the entrance of a home is a big NO NO. Why? KIDS (you can fill in the blanks with that one). Another reason, embarrassing moments coming out of a bedroom and bathroom that is next to the front entrance. Kitchen in the front of the house is a NO NO for a number of reasons safety, privacy, odors, resale value and etc. 🙂
