I know this scent really well, tried it several times, but is not for me, I find it extremely sweet and extremely feminine. The satin mood is one of the few scents witch give me a headache I prefer by far the other two, silk satin mood and oud, both are amazing. And both are more suitable for men. The extrait version is far too expensive, and the eau de parfum is already very concentrated.

Good that I found your channel, I've been looking for an unique Barbershop perfumes to make it my signature scent, I've been using Sterling Barbershop which smells really nice but it only lasts 2 to 3 hours as much on my Skin... Definitely will try some of those you recommend, Thanks!

Well I tried to order a 10ml roll on of the cologne version of Crown Shaving Co. Signature Blend but the shipping from Canada was too much $ to go through with it. Yes, Dua River Fougere is a good clone of YSL Rive Gauche Pour Homme. A little too strong and harsh, but otherwise gets the DNA right. I have the actual YSL Rive Gauche Pour Homme in the black can bottle too. Imo the most quintessential barbershop fougere of the genre. I even have the original feminine targeted 1970 Rive Gauche. Much different as a floral aldehydic. Chanel Platinum Egoiste is too metallic for me.

I’ve been waiting for about a month hoping to find a good price on reflection man and it just isn’t happening. I gave in and ordered 100ml a couple days ago. I’ve had a number of samples and It’s probably my favorite fragrance. That being said, I like all the Amouage I’ve tried. reflection man is beautiful and clean. I think it’s the easiest to wear.

The best Barbershop scent is still Drakkar Noir(or Al Rehab Dakar), next to Rive Gauche.

Now I am definitely buying this today.

I hope you do more fragrance reviews because you really look the part, you are the most well put together and freshest gentleman I’ve seen reviewing fragrances. And this Amouage Reflection Man suits you very well.

In my opinion, Mentha Religiosa of Roos & Roos has the best mint that I felt.

Nice video. If you like Bois de Portugal by the way, check out Nicolai New York Intense. Way better and true niche quality at 1/3 the price. Also, Guerlain is pronounced GIR-LAWN 😉

Kind of an outlier in the mint category, but I'm a fan of PdM's Darley. It's a nice lavender, mint, tonka bean, sandalwood sent. reminds me of a smoother le male.
