    two weeks?? what do you charge for a job like that?? might be cheaper to just buy a new truck!

    • @deluxproductionsPRO
      @deluxproductionsPRO 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I didn’t do this for my personal business I have to wash them time to time for my day job. When you factor in labor at about $160 something an hour, fuel, chemicals, dry ice, it is extremely expensive. Thankfully we don’t do a lot of them. It is definitely not even close to the price of one of these trucks even a really old one is very expensive. The asphalt industry is full of money it’s kind of hard to believe how much these big companies are making paving roads they can easily afford it. My service manager has learned to quote well above how much it will actually cost because we’ve lost money underestimating how much time goes into getting one clean!

    I think what you were you went wrong is the fact that you took the orifices out because I have the same idea for using a foam Canon and I’ve been able to get it to draw and work perfectly fine by only removing the bottle and hooking a hose up to it from my chem and it draws just fine

    Yessss totally agree.. A clean tool Isa happy tool.. be careful with that Super Clean when cleaning plastic and rubber tool handles..Rinse well with water.. it's some pretty hot stuff.. They might get a little sticky. I like using a good All Purpose Cleaner versus a degreaser.. it's a lot less harsh.. But yeah.. Super Clean is good stuff 👌

    Wasn’t able to last more than a month in a shop before the traction gave out. Worst boot I’ve ever owned. You can get almost any $150-$170 dollar boot that will give you better traction and hold up on a cement floor longer than that. Look around, there’s a million Moc toe/wedge sole boots out there in that price point that will give you better quality and traction.

  • @dtharleyman4325
    @dtharleyman4325 ปีที่แล้ว

    Thanks for the review. I’ve seen mixed opinions on these boots people seem to really like them or really dislike them. I took a chance and ordered a pair a couple days ago. Looking forward to trying them out.

    • @deluxproductionsPRO
      @deluxproductionsPRO ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for watching. It’s been almost a year now and I’d say they are pretty much worn out. I still think they are definitely worth the $150 that they cost but I wouldn’t pay much more for them. They are good boots but nothing game changing. I hope they work out good for you

  • @abefrowmahn
    @abefrowmahn ปีที่แล้ว

    • @deluxproductionsPRO
      @deluxproductionsPRO ปีที่แล้ว

      No problem.When I made this video I was solely working on over the road trucks and trailers past couple months I went to a new shop working on all different kinds of heavy equipment and these boots are done for now. I still think they are a solid middle of the road choice there’s a lot worse to get at the price point but also better for a little more. Thank you for watching

      Yes it works great on any type of paint or gel coat, fiberglass, etc. Dont expect it to do any type of heavy cutting but for “enhancements” it’s a great inexpensive product

    With a foam cannon head you’ll get about a .9% draw out of a 2.5gpm machine. Just downstream

    • @canadianpatriot5577
      @canadianpatriot5577 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      What do you mean by .9% draw? Are you talking about the SH percentage or a ratio (if ratio, what ratio are you looking at)? I have read you can get between 1 and 2% strength from a 10% SH

    The downstream injector will hook to the area where the hose connects normally but if u modify it u can hook it into end of gun

  • @johnmunyan1701
    @johnmunyan1701 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Get a downstream injector with quick connects, n u gonna need to modify it to fit a Ryobi multi tip or j rod to make it work

    without the orifice your shooting the full pressure your machine puts out and it won't siphon the cleaner. the orifice lowers the pressure and allows the cleaner to be siphoned. I have seen others do this mod.

    Why don’t you have a water tank? Do you still use your customers water? I have everything you have except a water tank and generator! I work out of my Honda Accord 2009 and so far it’s been good. Want to upgrade soon to a van or truck and get a water tank and generator! Good set up tho✊🏽🔥

    • @deluxproductionsPRO
      @deluxproductionsPRO 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I didn’t want to mess with permanently setting up a tank for my truck because I use my truck for lots of things other than detailing. I have used customer water for years now never had an issue with the customers caring. The only issue is sometimes their hoses are in bad condition or not long enough. I work out of a 5x8 enclosed trailer and have my own water and power it gives you a lot more freedom I also work in a lot of isolated areas where I have to have my own water and power but it is not required at all just help full in many cases. Now I keep all my detailing stuff in my trailer that I will ever need and can use my truck for anything else I need it is much more handy but towing around a trailer can be a pain but I prefer it over a van…but I’ve also never worked from a van either. Hope this helps!
