The main reason for pressure switch failure is rapid switch cycling/pump pulsation which is an operational issue. @@remcoindustries Thanks. Its a know problem, many softwash companies have with sws equipment. There is Zero rapid cycling while using the pumps and pressure always gets released before hoses are reeled in. And still they fail too often when they shouldn't.

@@oceansoftwash pressure switch cycling can be caused by a number of different factors such as undersized nozzles, undersized hoses, feathering the spray gun trigger, gunning on and off to much, or even having a pump that is to large for the system to handle. Cycling can also be difficult to hear if you far away from the pump and doesn't necessarily show symptoms in the spray pattern. Reviewing our customer service records we don't have any excessive pressure switch claims and the ones we have, after educating the operator, the issue resolves itself. If these on demand pumps are not working well in your system I would recommend trying a bypass pump which has an internal relief valve to control pressure. Now the operating time and duty cycle is different for a Bypass pump so be sure to discuss that with us or your Remco dealer before making the change. Thanks for you feedback.

@@remcoindustries thanks but as mentioned, there is NO cycling of the pump. Nozzles are correct, hoses are perfect size and don't use a trigger gun. We have learned over the years that's not a user error. There have been quality issues before also with pump heads, where pinholes occurred and then leaked.

@@oceansoftwash Thanks for your feedback, but our records don't indicate such quality issues as you have described and our SoftWash is our largest growing market.

For this pump orientation of the red wires doesn't matter as long as they are spliced into the red wires coming from the electric motor. This is different for our Fatboy series pumps though see that replacement video here: th-cam.com/video/Gj69M_u8wHI/w-d-xo.html
