Awesome Eric!!
Thank you sir!
So after that, the ride high will change, we just ignore it?
Well, yes it does change the ride height a bit as long as your car is not to bad out of tweak. But if your car is badly tweaked and it takes a lot of turning of the screws, then yes your ride height would change a lot, and that's not good. So, if that were the case, I would take the car apart and find the major tweak. When I use this method my ride height doesn't change by more than .1 to .2 of a millimeter. Great Question! Thanks!!
@@FullSendRC804 Got it. Thanks for sharing.
Lot of innuendo for an rc video.....just sayin
Next video, The new Futaba 7PX.....lol
I use the FD top deck front and rear on asphalt and it was a revelation, absolutely love it tbh!
I tested it again at my home track last night and learned a bit about running it in the rear. So we had put down a new layout so the track was green. I first had the ST019 screw in the E hole and the car was not bad. Then I moved it to the F hole and the car was so erratic, even down the straight. So then I used two ST019 screws and that seemed to be the best for our layout. Have you tried cutting the carbon plate at all?
@@FullSendRC804 you don't need to cut the carbon, I cut the front and did next to nothing tbh. I run the motor mount top deck screws on the positions closest to the spur gear. I run both counter sunk screws ALWAYS or else the car tweaks. If you need more steering up front and it isn't a roll centre based issue, only run two screws on the top deck at the bulkhead end. Run the FD decks front and rear imho.
@@FullSendRC804 for more steering run anti dive up front ie angle the front arm forward with a 0.5mm bias in shims front rear to front front arm positions, ie 2mm front rear 1.5mm front front
@@superstock9261 I do usually run .5 of anti-dive just about everywhere I go.
Looking forward to it!
Thanks for the video, I wonder where do you get those type of pit mat?
Our friends over at 1UP racing have the ones that I use. pick1up.com/products/1up-racing-pro-pit-mat?_pos=2&_psq=pit+m&_ss=e&_v=1.0
Yeah I lost 1 degree of turn in on the loaded tyre also. I couldn't raise the link as I am running 19 M already. I'm going to try putting the steering link on the forward hole on the steering arms next
I am running the 19.5 mm ball height, I did have to take some material off the rod end that goes under the top deck as it did hit pretty good.
I agree on high grip the Julia is faster than Wolverine for sure!
Did you run the stock wing or did you try a high downforce one?
You can find this gauge here teameamotorsports.com/collections/newest-products/products/manzo46-digital-caster-gauge
Will it work for all tc bodies?
The templates are body/car specific from BS Works. The distance between mounting holes are different from manufactures.
So if the grip level was higher how do you think the Julia would be compared to the Wolverine? Thinking the Julia would still be quicker with a high traction carpet surface?
I would say the Julia would be better than the Wolverine. That's just my opinion though.

You do not need a "hand brake" to drift or even initiate a drift. The lack of reverse is ridiculous. Just a way to cause more broken parts and net traxxas more profit on over priced plastic.
I'm a beginner on road racer and I had built a 25.5 TC to learn in the off season but the carpet season is starting and I think there's not enough of that class to race. I'm thinking I'll have to convert it to VTA or USGT if I want to club race. Do you have any recommendations? Chasis is X4'24. Thanks!
Either class would be okay. I would say if you are a beginner to TC racing, you might do the VTA class. It is a bit slower and more forgiving to race than USGT. The X4 would be good in either class, it seems to have a lot of traction.
@FullSendRC804 thanks! Do you know what is the best body to run for VTA?

Will it work with original P23-R? Thanks in advance! 🙏🙂👍
Yes, it will work with the stock plastic P23-R
@@FullSendRC804 Ok thank you much e for the kind reply
is this use full for modified?
yes, it will. The car seems easier to drive and lap times seem to say that it's faster. We are now testing on asphalt. This tool should be released in early October if all the testing goes well.
@@FullSendRC804 thanks , got to try it
Please show how to charge a 1S lipo at 25 Amps/Sync mode.
Hi EJ. What is the difference from doing this mod, compared to drill 2 more holes in the damper rotor (Or drill the holes larger)? That should also change pack. Thanks
You are 100% correct on drilling the holes out would change the pack too. I just thought that having the outer most part of the rotor modified, it would react differently than the holes that are not moving through as much oil. I know of a few guys that are drilling the holes now. I don't think that they have really come to any conclusions yet.
Push the bearings back into position then using a wicking thread locker. Quick, easy and simple. No need to dismantle.
That's what I was thinking, but I didn't want to get any thread locker in the bearing. I was thinking of using Green. What did you use?
Good stuff! Are you willing to share the dimensions of the cutout?
I will check with Bill over at BS Works and see if he wants to share that yet.
BS Works is not willing to share that information. Sorry. The tool will be available late summer/early fall.
@@FullSendRC804 all good! thanks for checking
I thought that the 800RA dampers were modified to take care of this(?).
The only problem that I have heard of with the rotors were that the 2 piece rotors were having issues and so Awesomatix came out with the new one piece version. This mod that we are doing is just a tuning option, it's not to fix any actual product defect.
@@FullSendRC804 Thanks
How does this mod make it handle better?
Hey, thanks for the question. So, it changes the "pack" characteristics. Even with thicker oil, the damper feels a good bit softer than it did before the mod. On track, the car reacted quicker and it had more chassis roll/grip. So, in a traditional shock, it's like putting a larger hole piston with thicker oil to change the "pack" of the shock. For myself and Bill from BS Works, it did produce faster lap times on a layout that had been down at our local track for months.
will it work on the MMX? tks
Yes it will. I had to sand a bit of material off the graphite part to allow my battery to slide by it better. I haven't run the car with them in it but I do like the way they work. A battery with a smaller case might fit without any sanding.

I enjoyed the video :) This is the system I'm looking for I want to buy this product, but the shipping cost is more than the product price. I want to buy it but it makes me hesitate
RC Maker makes a really nice carbon fiber version of it. You might be able to find that one closer to where you live.
The idea of this servo mount is to gain a bit more space that would allow you to swap the position of the ESC & Motor Fan.🙄
Yes, some of the guys that are running mod are doing the esc swap. This mount also adds more torsional flex to the chassis. I am very interested in that aspect of the mount. I hope to do some testing later this week.
@@FullSendRC804 Hi EJ. Did you have a chance to test this, and if so, did you feel any difference to the feeling? Thanks
@@srenboyholst3949 I have not been able to get to my local track for testing. They have had some off-road and oval trophy races.
It would have been a good thing, if we could see what you did.....
Yeah, not sure what went wrong. It was all in frame in editing...
Hi hi morning, can it also fit the mmx?
No, the mounting holes are not the same down the center of the chassis.
@@FullSendRC804 was telling my self the same thing, thanks, have a good one
How does it compared to the wolverine?
It has a bit more body roll than the Wolverine. It's a bridge between the Twister and the Wolverine.

Any link video of BS-BM-223 1/10 Body Height Marking Tool ? Like what is the right mm for carpet and for asphalt?
Good question! No, not really any video on that because there really isn't one setting that will work. It all depends on the ride height of what your car is and how high you mounted your body. It's more of a tool to be able to duplicate a body that you know doesn't rub already and get it lower. Good idea for a video on this, thanks!
