Wow what a rare video thanks so much 🎉

My shipping box came damaged. But the foam pieces kept the actual boxes in good shape. Whoever handled mine was throwing it around because my plastic inserts are bent over and deformed from the weight of all the cardboard. Also my cardboard map has good divots in it. But having the neoprene mat, I don't know if I'll try to get replacements. I just finished sleeving the cards and am 2 sleeves short for the poker sized card. :( The other sizes had exactly the amount of sleeves needed. I feel like that's one of the cheapest items that they could've given us a few extras on, in case they were defective or, in my case, miscounted by 2. :( Overall, I think I'll really enjoy the game. But, if they keep producing boxes like this, where they cram it all in, instead of splitting the cardboard tiles into their own box, even if it's a white box, with no graphics, I don't think I'll buy another game from them. It's just too risky to get damaged items as well as them being cheap on the sleeve count. As for storage solutions, if you have a 3d printer, Printables has an organizer that I'm currently printing out. It's made by Stronknes. I have no affiliation to him/her. But, it's the only one I've found so far to replace my dented/deformed stock organizer.

I was hoping you would do or may still do a Components List comparison. There is already a list for what should be in the box vs what you received. Some people didn't receive things others received multiples of other things.

Yes, storage is the big question mark right now. I'm hoping someone has a good idea for everything back in the box, but I think that might be a pipe dream once everything is punched. 😂

I'm still waiting on mine. The quality looks exceptional and definitely worth the $$! One of my D&D nights might have to go on hold for a while so my group can play this. Very curious myself about how this will re-box once everything is punched out. I'll probably end up using some nice plastic storage that I've bought from Woot. A word of warning...toss the dice tray! I've watched the how to play videos and the guy that I watched used it and it was the worst luck ever. Not just over 1 or 2 episodes, but 10 in a row! No action at all! Thanx for the sneak peak.

That’s a pretty shoddy job TGC did. Recommend to take matters in your own hands: line cutter and rounder cutter... Game looks worth it.

it's a good video. Can be simpliefied a bit because after 1-4 and 5+ the other cards are just the bunch that gets divvied up, so treat that bunch as a unit. And a little bet with yourself to beat the game twice in a row, remove an additional treasure card at random. 12:40 I get that you are cycling the corridor cards, but suppose you have not separated the exit cards. Once you see the exit card appear, you slide it under the bottom of the pile. If there is no such pile, you flip the card. So it's not needed to separate the exit cards per se I think. Thanks for bringing DF to reality. it's beautiful in its purity.

6:00 lol anno 2023 it's one of my most beloved DC games to this day. In retrospect would suggest a fourth mode, called normal mode, which means grouping shuffled even layers (1+2 together, then 3+4 together, then 5+6 together). + add a simple sheet into the box for scoring dates, hero class and difficulty beaten.

Completely missed this Kickstarter..

After shuffling, the location of the witch king cards determines if you win or lose. So it needs to be separated into 3 tiers at least to give it a bit more longevity. That's why it's a 6.9 on bgg - decent but needs work.

Hi, I just played my first solo game after reading pdf rules and watching the video. I have some questions/clarifications: In setup do you deal only plan cards from the cell block no escapees? 4 in process 10 per location and 10 hand. Of 54 cards no escapees? Pdf says “plan cards” and setup example shows no escapees. But in video setup include escapees. When grouping cards in “plans in process” should I treat 3 infamous escapees as grey? Thats how I played. Confirm: can either start a new plan (one time) OR add to plans (no limit). Didnt understand it that way thru pdf. If can only have plans of 4 colors in play then all the other colors are just cards to discard. End up having a huge amount of trash cards which I keep sepearate from my cards I can play. Cant think of an incentive foil for more than what I need (9 cards). Thanks!

haha anno 2023 I still own this cute little game. I've been thinking about Normal mode (which was missing at the time). Shuffle level cards 6-7, then 3-5 and on top 1-2. Not much chance of getting killed by the sequence + provides some interesting situations.

Just a heads up to those that put in a purchase order for Bomber Boys. Since there were some last minute changes that I made, I would cancel the order and reorder the game just to make sure you got everything that is up to date as of 12-8-2022. Thanks and sorry for the inconvenience.

Does anything bad happen if you miss the roll for a secret passage (apart from not being able to find it ever)? If not, then there's no incentive to NOT roll for the secret door. :)

Love Ultima and love the idea here, but not much of a solo gamer. Any way or variant to play it with 2 or 3 players, perhaps? Versus, co-op, any mode would do.

Looking good! Definitely try to give this a go. :) One idea I had is when rolling for trap damage, choose a number on the die before rolling, if that number is rolled, you've managed to dodge the trap and take no damage.

One thing I will be changing the the orange cube. I will be updating the rules so you can use the orange cube in the beginning of the game for potions and just take it out of the bag when you need it for the exit card.

Can you put the link to where you had the cards made? I printed the game on thin card stock so as not to foul my printer but yours look much better and also where did you get the variation cards and extra mission cards from? Great video by the way!,

Informative. Thematically makes sense as the dungeon hosts different monsters running about doing their thing, but I enjoy easy mode too much right now. Maybe will try this later.

In order to avoid too many blocking situations, I remove from the game seven green light cards. Indeed, there are too many green light cards (14) compared to red light cards (5) and we find ourselves too often blocked.

Wow, I am loving everything about this! This new version looks incredibly sharp, and I'm getting hyped to try out all the different characters. Dungeon Flee was my top overall game of 2020, not just my top PnP game of 2020. I bet it's going to be even more awesome with all the updates made to it :)
