This Velvet Glove (Yokohama 2000) [UPSCALED + SBD AUDIO] - Red Hot Chili Peppers
I mixed the soundboard recording released on SiriusXM in February 2023 with a handheld amateur video of the original show, from 2000.
I tried to upscale the video to 4K and brighten it up a little bit. The result is funny I think: it looks a little bit like the Californication music video, which is indeed era-correct. Anyway, I think it's more watchable than the original, which was shot on VHS and transferred to DVD. The footage itself, excluding the borders, had the whopping resolution of 720x370.
This was the first time This Velvet Glove was played live, and one of few times overall. Yokohama, Japan, 13th January 2000.

Probably because the song relies on two guitars (rhythm and lead) , and sounds quite "empty" with just John playing the lead part without the rhythm.
