Sorry for the late reply. You are correct, it would have been better if we solo'ed on our own. The thing is, we get to the point where we solo everything with our mains, and we miss the party aspect for bosses. We still party up for hlucid and hwill even thought we all can probably solo them. One of my friends said this: "I didn't get stronger to then still struggle."

LOL!!!!!!!!!! 😂 What happens is that when I play multiple characters in a day, I mix up their keys. Some classes use the same skill for mobbing and bossing, while bucc, has two different skills.

Kain isn't difficult, but it's not a lazy mobber either. Don't worry though because it still hits a lot of mobs. There's some decent rotations in all the regions. Try it out, and see.

I have 9,000 Legion, links, two 15% IED Fams + one 20% boss fam, 21 star CRA, full arcane, full gollux, 2 set Dawn set, my arcane gloves are 2 line crit damage, I have a bunch of buffs from potions, maxed out Arcane symbols, some sacred symbols, maxed out 5th job nodes, etc. Everything together adds a lot.

Should you start playing again? Sure, if you want. The events going on right now are made to help get you to level 260 so you can experience 6th job. There's a hyper burning event going on right now, and you can get 3 levels everytime you level until Lv. 260. There's also another event that lets you speed through Lv. 10 - Lv. 100 really quick for up to 5 characters, which is great for legion. Now the question if you should start from scratch or not. You can probably start on your current acount and hyper burn a class you want to maybe main. And if the class you pick is not the one you like, you can start over on a new account and hyper burn another character. You can delete the hyper burned character and start over the hyper burn, but you miss out on rewards you already claimed.... Also, for a new account, maybe the new Reboot box is better that when you last started. Xenon's are great at training and can be kind of strong for bossing. But in my opinion, they shine brighter when you have high legion and all the links prior to funding. My recommendation would be to maybe start with another class, and have Xenon on the side. Playing Xenon on Reboot is kind of a "hard mode" because you need good funding to be decent, compared to other classes. Like bucc can solo hLotus with 17 star unique gear. Kanna's got gutted. They are super weak compared to a few patches ago. I would just park you kanna at lv. 200. Another thing to consider, is which world to start in because they just opened up a second Reboot world. And a lot of people are on that world starting fresh, and they are all struggling through all the early bosses. So it might be easier to get into a popular guild and make friends with people in similar progression as you. Hope all this info helps! Good luck! @@ZoloDicrey sucks to hear kannas are gutted, they were definitely the go to first class for a while back when I played. what class do you reckon is fun & in a decent spot for someone like me to pickup atm then? I just remember getting a xenon through some of the story missions and finding it enjoyable. defo getting on reboot, cant bother with having to grind bosses for cubes, found the mesos shop much more enjoyable despite the trading restrictions. holidays coming up where I'll have some free time and I always loved the vibe of this game. the idea of joining all the fresh starts on the new reboot world sounds like fun too! I'll be missing the plethora of knowledge on how to quickly get good items/where to gear during leveling etc but at least I won't be the only lowlevel for a while. you dont reckon you have a discord so I have someone to ask questions to abt this sorta stuff?

Yeah, sucks for Kannas. Maybe they'll get some love soon. I recommend just trying out random classes. Definitly and explorer or cygnus knight because they recently got revamp and they are very modernized. (Except Cannon Master, they haven't been touched except for their animations.) Regular servers are about to collapse, and a lot of them moved over to the new Reboot world, Hyperion. I recommend trying to join a guild as soon as you can. One that looks like it has a lot of active players and isn't in a rush to be the top guild. "Ereklo" and "Game" aka Jake and Joe, aka the Maple Streamer twins, have a lot of great videos on what classes to play. And they have a community discord which you can join and get your questions answered by a lot of people who love the game. Just watch out for the trolls. They get pointed out if the happen to start trolling. LOL!

Xenon worth bossing mule? Or it’s a straight up struggle?

@@tiendoan6417 It's straight up struggle. Xenon needs everything it can get from the familiar badges to min-max'ing legion blocks. Not the best character to leave with deprived gear. (unique potential/17 star). But if you try it out and you like the play style, fund it like a 2nd main. If you are looking for a character to just keep as a boss mule with deprived gear, go DW, Bucc, Demon Slayer, Hero, Bowmaster, Marksman, Shadower, Wind Archer, and Night Walker. Those are the easiest/strongest classes.

So I use "black" cubes for tiering up and "red" cubes for rolling for stats. Some equipment, like my secondary and emblem, I have duplicates on purpose so I can keep whatever is good on one, and re-roll on the other until something better comes up. There's also some gear that you shouldn't stress over cubing because you might have to ditch it when you go for 22 stars. Ex: Sup gollux belt doesn't have to have a crazy potential because you wanna save up you pink bean belts to 21 them, to later transfer to your sup gollux belt to attempt a 22 star. Doing so will wipe your current potential on your sup gollux belt and you will have to re-cube it. I unfortunatly (fortunately) rolled double prime, triple all stat %, which is too good to get rid of with this strategy.

You got this! Those bosses are fun in party’s. The only boss I don’t have fun in, is Hard Lotus. I have yet to clear… I need more practice….

Combo key is a new feature. It like the fn key on keyboards where you hold it down, and you have more keys to press. For maple, you can place the combo key anywhere except Control, Alt, and the number keys. When you hold it down, a new UI will appear with your assigned items on it. Anything you can put on your keyboard config, can also be place in your combo key. To put items on your combo key, there’s a button on the middle left of the keyboard config window that says “combo key”, and it will reveal the hot bar where you can drag skills or items or whatever you want, to it. For my BaM, I have my aura skills assigned to it. It’s pretty useful because there’s like 7 of them, and I don’t want to have them spread out on my keyboard. Hopefully what I explain makes sense. Maybe I’ll make a video on it.

I think both are pretty good. It depends on how far you want to go with your hyper burn. If you want to "park" it at lv 260 and just do solo bossing for weekly meso, then go with Bucc. If you want to maybe take it even farther that lv 260 and do Tenebris bosses and maybe even aim for liberation, do Paladin. I think with Paladin, you will be able to cheese boss mechanics. Bucc is just a DPM class. If you're going to take a bucc far, might as well main it. Both should be able to lazy farm. (At least low effort.)

I havent done pally but a semi-similarish class i mained a bit was Mihile and tbh it was kinda meh imo. Bucc has been fun and if you can hit 2 keys at the same time you can max clear maps as bucc all you gotta do is change directions... The burst is pretty good too when bossing. It's not the best burst class but I would say it has fairly good uptime of DPM inbetween bursts too with all the FD, Boss Dmg, IED, and Crit your skills provide you just kinda turn every boss into swiss cheese. I will say though... if you aren't funded very well the class can be veeeery tedious to farm if you dont like to FJ attack. Also another thing about bucc is the INSANE mobility. Bucc can MOVE you can see he super jumps a few times to dodge Queens attacks also its basically a teleport class during your transform and you basically can chase a boss to hell and back with your transform, corkscrew blow, fj, super jump, up jump, and rope lift... no boss can escape you... you just chase them down all while your aura is just smacking them with stupid dps even while you are dodging/chasing.

Thank you! I think Kain is one of the best classes to hyper burn and eventually main, for this current patch. You do need a lot of node slots for the boost nodes, but it’s easy to get what you need because almost every skill in the pool of skills to boost, is required anyway. My recommendation is to not worry about getting exact trio’s, because it would more efficient to leave them mix-matched. There’s a video on TH-cam on how to get all your boost nodes for all classes, and they guy did it with Kanna. He used a calculator for it. Anyway, lol! Training was not bad at all because more of the skills were wide range attacks. It’s not lazy like NW bite farming, but it’s not high effort like cadena. There’s some low effort rotations in every area in arcane river. (I haven’t gone passed lv 250 yet.) Bossing is really good too! It’s like your constantly bursting. You cycle through all your possession skills and place curse marks (or whatever it’s called) on the boss. And then you proc them for extra damage with your execution skills. And that’s not even the real burst. The red beam is crazy, the big execution skill is crazy, and the dome thing is crazy too. The FMA is insane because after you start it up, your shooting extra attacks with everything else until you pop the big FMA. And the survivability is good too! Long story short, you get rewarded with the effort you put into kain. I highly recommend you join the Kain discord. The guides their helped a lot. NW is good too! But I think Kain has more depth.

I’m not happy with the sol erda cap… Even though I don’t play that much right now, I would have liked to be able to maybe grind it out on the weekends to farm sol erda energy. It kinda incentivized me to train more. But with the cap, what’s the point… And about the Oz Ring box being nerfed, I purposely did not invest time into Oz because I got the impression it would be easier to wait it out. I do bosses with friends regularly, and eventually I would get a RoR3/4. RoR is huge for xenon. I think xenon is in the top 3 in burst if you use a RoR4. It’s almost needed for end game content. It would have been huge for lib, which liberating is one of my biggest goals for the game.

I'm in Reboot which means there's no auction house. And All Stat +% is better for xenon because we depend on STR/DEX/LUK equally. That's the struggle LOL!

Thanks for the comment. The problem with damien in general is that he spends a large portion of the fight in the air. I don't know much about bowmasters, but I think they can still damage damien when he's in the air and maintain constant DPS. And for P2, the balls really mess me up because my burst is stationary....I'm suppose to bait them to the opposite side and run to Damien to bind him. But I act too slow and he usually ends up teleporting to where the balls are, or the balls catch up. Also, this was one of my fastest runs, ironically. Before, it would take me the almost the entire 30min to kill hDamien.

Yeah, blue ball damage debuff goes through . Also doesnt help xenom bind needs you to be on the ground so you cant like upjump and bind and immidiately burst

yeah for real! Usually Xenon's in reboot aim for 2.5 lines. (2 line all stat + 1 line str/dex/luk) In regular servers, you can buy equipment from people who were fortunate to role 3 line all stat. But then you have to deal with scrolling, which I find to be a headache I don't want to deal with.
