A condensed version of our lap around the Bergeron Falls trail. Started out cold (-23) but warmed up to be an unreal day. Showing trails to my kids never gets old! We started at the abandoned building, unsure of the road conditions beyond. This adds an additional 1.5k each way to the trip (unless you ride out in the box of someone’s truck like us 😉)

Nice soundtrack
I went up the ridge behind Azu lake a long time ago, and there was still snow in the shady spots. I decided to bootski down, but got going too fast and lost control. Your giggles of glee were much more pleasant than my screams of terror. (I survived, though nearly suffered a rock enema when I hit the end of the snow.) If you get a chance to do the circle route, it is well worth it, though there are a few places where the trail gets hard to follow in the krumholtz.
😂 you had me at “rock enema”. I haven’t been up those peaks yet, but have spent plenty of time staring at them from the chairlift. Hoping to do some ridge runs up there next summer.

Do you bring any horns or bear spray?
I almost always have spray handy, no horns but I feel like the amount of fun we were having took care of the noise department. Thanks for watching!

Sweet video Jordan! When we went in last winter we also bushwhacked down to the summer trail from the cutblocks lol. Whoops. That cabin sure is nice after the grind to get in there 👌
Absolutely! It looks like the most logical way from the maps, and as far as bushwhacking goes it’s pretty acceptable. Now we know.
Great content. Where you able to see any wildlife? (elk, moose or bears)
We saw plenty of animal sign, but no actual sightings on our hike. We did cross a large fresh area that a bear had dug through on the last descent off of terminator. But didn’t see the bear.

Good review.. your arm fatigue may be from your stem not being straight from what I see in your video. I've had it cause me premature fatigue in the past
Mitch Bird just noticed this comment, somehow it slipped through the cracks. It’s funny I watched the video over and at times is does look like it’s off centre... it’s driving me crazy now haha. I ended up breaking my frame and having everything swapped to a new frame on warranty shortly after this video, so it’s straight now. 😉
