@potatomancer9473 74, honestly once you get used to dashing through his super fast phoenix dashes its not very hard. I kinda wish this boss had more projectile and fire tornado attacks instead of emphasizing so heavily on dashes.

the dashes are SOOOOOOO bad lmao. I had to bind dash to an extra button on my mouse for DoG, and this was even faster so it was WAYYYYYY awful just to get the timing right, and you can see i still took plenty of hits from it. Glad you were able to get through it!

Look dude, I never said the guide was gonna be optimal, I'm not claiming to be a pro at the game either. This was just the most up-to-date thing for Infernum at the time of release, there's prob better options out there now. If you aren't a fan of alch npc buffs then don't use them, 99% of the stuff I used was calamity/vanilla buffs that I just bought from the npcs anyways. I was just trying to beat the game, not do some run where I'm not allowed to have quality of life, just a casual playthrough. Could've just disliked the video and moved on yk. And about the cheese, if you can tell me where it is I'll happily explain why I did what I did and how I don't see it as cheese

Glad I could help! Honestly the only REALLY difficult part about this fight is the rapid dashes in phase 2 lol (and the fact that all your hp is gone in 2 hits but that's besides the point)

Galaxy Smasher is good if you can consistently hit your throws

I used the drill containment unit and destroyed a massive area, you really probably need like 2-3 screens wide with the height being from the top of hell to the bottom of space

When I did Infernum Mage, I did 3, 300 wide platforms, 150 space in between each

I don't believe so, I just have them cause I was too lazy to take them off lol. if you do it without them it'll make seeing projectiles easier so I don't recommend using them lmao

It's in settings, I don't remember exactly where but I believe it's in interface, and then you can click on boss bar style to change it. if that doesn't work, there are plenty of top-tier boss bar mods or texture packs out there :D

@@chaoticevil4205 it's a huge help. I actually beat him although I had to get some help from Terraria Overhaul. To be fair a did 161 attempt before hand so yeah I kinda had enough. But it is possible without TO. However you need to plan really carefully when you dash, you need to play close to perfect. I also thought of gravity potion although I only thought about it afterwards.

yeah 100% the dashing is so perfect. I honestly believe that if you're running any lower than 60 fps it's a frame perfect timing, especially that long chain in phase 2. Also I thought Overhaul made the game harder? Unless there's a different mod out there that jumped on the overhaul name bandwagon

Honestly im not sure, is that a constant fps or just while using the orderbringer? you might be able to switch to Galaxy Smasher as well as taking off some visually intensive buffs to help fps

It comes with infernum mode mod. If you go to settings and interface, there are three options for boss healthbars: Vanilla, Calamity, Infernum. He is using Infernum.

yup, I just wish I could use it without playing in infernum cause it's such a good boss bar, tells you exactly when phase/subphase transitions are and it's clear when a boss can't be hurt

It is amazing how this guide works for me and all i did was immediatley play calamity infernum with no modded expirience beforehand
