X-Com 2 WOtC -- Mission 40 Leviathan PART II ENDING
We conclude our assault on the final boss with a rousing extravaganza of gunplay, explosive ordinance, diversionary tactics, computer hacking, EMP bamboozling, and a dollop of poison for good measure. While I felt confident at the outcome from the beginning, there was always a small modicum of danger lingering in my mind. Also, Cool Ranch Doritos suck.

This is the first half-ish part of our FINAL ASSAULT (caps for emphasize, you know) for the game. Hijinks were plentiful, combat lively, and boom-booms plentiful.

Our dynamic trio assaulted the Central Broadcast Array in order to hack it. We were nifty, we were lethal, we brought graham crackers for celebratory purposes. Once completed, we proceeded to the final assault.

We sojourned to the sewers to hack a laptop, as that is where most laptops with access to sensitive information tend to be located. The Chosen Warlock showed up, he got shot, then ran its mouth after being shot a lot. Go figure.

We sojourned to the desert to discover the place of origin for the Codex. We also had water, juice, and snacks. Always need to be prepared when you venture into the desert.

We needed to save civilians in a Retaliation mission, using a "JV" team, if you will. I will have to take umbrage with this mission's code name. There were shadows, of course, but I do not feel it progressed in a fashion to state it "stank". Be kinder, random mission name generator.

A surgical strike to slay an Advent Commander prior to he/she/its evacuation. We only had two operatives & a rando. Contrary to just about every mission, this was actually a strike on a mountain/mountainous environment. Huzzah!!!

Dr. Aldrete was my Roman history professor at UWGB (and a couple other history courses). Amazing professor...and the guy was SUPER COOL!
