Tbf this build doesn't go that hard on ult and ground pound. You kinda just stay in the air like a helicopter and pepper them til they're low hp

@@Pekara121 Eh, this isn't the spiderman lash build. This one plays a bit closer range. It just has all the burst items and is gun leaning vs spirit lash... basically bullet resis shredder replaces cold front. he is still going for high dive kicks mostly as openers but is following up with higher gun damage... I think this build progresses more tank items into the late game than anything else. This build does really well with siphon bullets and inhibitor in late

Lash's ult is so weird, you want to have it up for team fights and not just use it on the first person you see but you also need to be in the air with a clear view of as many enemies as possible, which is unlikely a lot of the time due to buildings and roofs and even less likely at high MMR where people dont stand together very much. Its hard to use effectively.

The reason you use it on lash is his second upgrade for his first ability gains a short knock-up, so they cannot escape so you slam>guranteed mysticshot>flog/cold front item. This allows you to get insane burst relatively early. It also is helpful for farming, and better players like Mikael probably hits the bonus pretty often honestly.

As for why he uses it aswell on paradox is probably a similar ideology, same with headshot booster. He hits carbine>free headshot and mystic shot for yummy burst.

yeah this. One thing I was curious about tho was that he maxed ult when he coudlve maxed his 2 which woudlve been way better since he was more gun oriented. Still won tho.

If a bird from 2000m away coughs in your direction you lose all momentum and the 100% air control, basically making it useless, plus having a way longer CD than before.

If you're getting hit by more than one big slam in a fight I have bad news for you, and it isn't that Lash is broken. An initial jump I can understand since he has so much mobility to drop on you unexpectedly, but if you're letting him go up and down on you constantly with huge slam damage you're just playing poorly. That or you're expecting to 1v1 a character who's built to slap most of the roster in a 1v1. Either way I have no pity, buy Etheral Shift/group/have some object permanence if he disappears after the first slam. Slam is not a big damage ability for a whole fight unless you let it be one, you can literally just roll out of its path as long as you track where he is.

@@Wildcat12 i think the height scaling should get changed a bit getting 250+ dmg in first mins by doing a simple falling wall jump is kinda nuts, coming from someone who plays lash

@@itzdrdabber2115 Its just so easy to watch him shambling up mid, and his super early game (one ability) is so weak if he picks the slam that it's not like he's gonna kill you afterwards. Lash needs 2 abilities for one of them to work decently barring a lot of setup, and most good players prefer the sustain from flog so he can't even do this typically until he has all basic abilities. Not to mention late game pure spirit assassin will take like 8+ max height slams to kill a moderately tanky person, this is assuming he has boundless spirit, mystic burst, and mystic reverb. If you mean he can do 250 with no items, just from a wall jump? No fucking way. Maybe if it's vs a pocket?

@@itzdrdabber2115 If the ability was harder to dodge I’d agree but it really isn’t. If you’re watching him and not wasting your stamina it should be extremely easy to dodge slams, especially in early game when he doesn’t have as much mobility, and it’s easier to know where he’s going to be since you’re still in lane. There’s a reason Lash has barely been touched for the last few months, he’s one of the most balanced characters in the game. The question is just whether or not people are willing to engage with the counterplay available. Plus full Spirit Lash isn’t even strong enough right now for the types of huge slams the original comment was talking about. Unless you’re super far ahead and against extremely squishy characters, it ends up being better to just go hybrid and finish people off with your gun after the initial burst. Though I hope that changes because I find Spirit assassin Lash way more fun personally.
