In this video I used an ACC Crappie Stix. It is 7 foot 6 inches. Medium is the action. I should've used a light rod or a medium light. But most of the time I used my ACC Crappie Stix, 7'6 medium.

Well when the water's right I love this spot. The water was dropping fast so I had to get my couple cast in before it was bare bottoms again. I love the new setup. Before I used to worry about busting my butt.

@@MidwestSkarfish the company I’m with did some of that work and a lot at the new boat ramp on the river. We’ve done a lot of work on the greenway trail too. All that work helped teach a new guy like me where some of the good spots are that you veterans already know

@gkt7412 that's awesome! You know I would mention where I'm at but people just can't keep the place clean. I've lost at least 5 good spots due to lazy people that can't clean up after their selves. People just don't know how to follow rules. And I don't mean just the river. I mean lakes and ponds to. For crappies and bluegills. I mean big crappies and bluegills!

@@MidwestSkarfish I would keep tight lipped on your locations. If you know, then you know. Otherwise everywhere becomes either trashed, pressured or both. I don’t know all your spots. I’m just local to you and can guess from the backgrounds on the river spots. Your panfish places are mostly a mystery to me and I don’t need to know all your secrets.

@@MidwestSkarfish probably better for us anglers to learn how to read the waters and a map to guess out public spots. Makes us more skilled.

@@MidwestSkarfish no wipers but my biggest white so far is 15". I've caught wipers in KY and TN. Indian Lake is the start of the Great Miami River. with the spring floods the fish get washed out of the lake in to the river. the saugeyes, bass, whites, cats, gills, perch and crappies run up to the lake spill way. { it takes me 3min. to walk there} that's the easy fishing but that's over. so I'm on the lake now.

If I had one choice for stained water? It would definitely have to be chartreuse clear. That's what they call it but I think it's more chartreuse white. Can't go wrong with chartreuse. If it ain't chartreuse it ain't no use 😆 🤣 😂

That's only because they were doing something out there. There was like a tug boat pushing a small barge and 2 other boats that was helping them. So they had the hydro shut off.
