As it’s not specifically disclosed who made which decision, we can only speculate, however Buffet tends to do the bigger moves so I could say that potentially all the investments a part of Dominos could have be done by him. Also even if they were not - in my opinion Todd and Ted are great followers of Buffet and they do discuss these investments between them. So it’s still worth to follow Berkshire Hathaway’s portfolio. 😊

That’s the thing. We don’t know when and why, but history tends to repeat itself and right now things look fairly similar to the times before a crash. It might take a year or even longer. But it does seem like it might happen again.

I agree that Chinese stocks are very beaten up compared to the rest of the world. But if the company manages to scale over time in a few years the stock price is bound to follow, and if not Alibaba could just reward investors with dividends and share buy backs.

@@ValuePlaybook There's just too much negative sentiment and mistrust towards Chinese stocks. Crackdowns, tariffs, fake numbers, state control, manipulation. If you buy Chinese stocks you are essentially placing a bet on whether investors sentiment will change. Even if the CCP have learned from their past mistakes, a bad reputation is easy to create and a good one is difficult to earn back.

I fully agree with you, but again you have to look at the company from the value investing perspective. If the company will perform over time the stock price has to follow. But since the company is in the difficult environment like China, that can take longer than lets say in USA

It might be good to wait for a correction before adding more, but I like the fact that you’re choosing DCA strategy over going all in at an ATH valuation. The company has a bright future that’s for sure. I would just like the price to go down before I start my position. If that does not happen - oh well. I don’t have a fear of missing out. But if it does and PLTR has a decent correction - I might be looking into starting my position.

I fully agree this was just a quick example to understand the topic better. I am planning to go deeper into the topic of how to determine the valuation of the company.
