ONEMIX Pace Beam Review
มุมมอง 9554 หลายเดือนก่อน
The @onemix.official PACE BEAM is designed for 10, 21, and 42 km road running. It enters a wide and competitive market, but could it be a hidden gem of a shoe with a sensible price tag? Here are the key features of the PACE BEAM: 🔹Weight: 235g (EU42) 🔹Heel-to-toe drop: 6mm 🔹EVA Foam 🔹Hollow arch design 🔹Embedded carbon plate 🔹“O-Energy” heel tech for impact and rebound 🔹Rear loop for smooth tra...

^whats about seat angle, the amanyar got 76 degree, much other TT bikes re around 80 degree. so need to pull the saddle to the front?
How much did the entire build cost?
The seatpost.. you have to cut it if you want to lower it down?
the horizontal line has flexion ( It is rigid like the Ceepo Shadow or flexes the horizontal rub like the Cervelo CXP5.
how much of the weight ?
Thanks it's a nice review for a non well known brand.
@@TiiDadii thanks! Appreciate your kind words ☺️
Awesome ive been waiting for this review
@@chicagotat2 nice one! Thanks for the feedback 👍👍
Are these ones better than the Light Armour? What's the real difference between them? Which ones are faster?
Looking to get a pair. Currently using a uk 9.5 in my hoka challengers what would you recommend. I do have room in the toebox of the hokas. Foot measures 262mm
is there a bento box?
@@JasonC683 no but you could add your own solution. I don’t see the need for it with internal hydration 👍
Thanks Phil. Been waiting for this! Great walk around of the (epic) build!
@@richard_wait your welcome thanks for watching!
Can you tell us how they compare to expensive other shoes if you did tried them also ? Thanks Great review
@@iutiopxx I’ve not worn the new alphafly but I know these have outlasted my alphafly2 and I now only wear onemix
Already got myself 3 pairs, strongly recommended... I'm pretty much sure that this shoe can hold up with much more famous brands...
i have been thru 8 or so pairs of the light armors they have and thinking of buying this one ? what would you recommend . I tend to stay with a shoe that is working well
did you get to keep them after the review?
Yes I still use the shoes now and have well over 300 miles in them!
Do you use them in races? How is the sole after 300 miles? Thanks
@ they are awesome! I train and race in them. The sole is holding up great beyond 300 miles!
Great review Phil 👍
Great to meet you at there buddy. Love the recap.
Likewise mate! Lovely to meet you and hope you have some cracking racing over the summer 💪💪💪
Geil! 💣💣💣👍👍👍
Is amazing what a little reflection can do. Sounds to me like you busted a gut to do your best, and that's so what matters. This is the first video I've seen of yours (I was looking for a yt guy called just du it I think another duathlete). Anyhow, count me in as a new subscriber from down here in Melbourne Australia. Ps originally from Burnley in Lancashire. Well done again, now going to watch more of your kids 😊
Smashed it as always mate 👏🏼
Cheers buddy!
Hi, im just curious as to what BB did you use? I'm not sure if you mentioned it (I apologize if that's the case). Been reading up reviews on this bike as I'm very much interested on this bike and the included BB seems to be an issue regarding this bike. Very much interested on this bike and intend to use this also for tri events
😂😂 I watched a lot of reviews too! I’m using the BB that came supplied with the bike and I’ve got a DUB crankset. It’s all matched up perfectly and no issues at all. I built the bike and pressed in the bearings myself. I’ve hammered it on some rides and not a creak or noise coming from anywhere 🙌🙌
Thank you for your reply! Been loosing my mind because of this for a couple of months. I've been torn in choosing the right road bike frame or TT frame. One factor for me for deciding to get a road frame is I can only keep one bike 😅 You're video helped alot and I hope will give me the confidence to buy so I can sleep better at night not thinking about this 😂 Thanks again
Great video Phil! I would like your opinion if this bike can fit gravel tires? Cheers!
I’ll measure up.. I know I have 38mm and they wouldn’t work. 32,34, possibly 35/36 max. I think it was front fork that was the limiter in this situation. Back had a lot of clearance. I’ll have a measure, and different rim widths will also affect outcome
@@SwimBikeRunShots Awesome! If 35s could work that would be best of the both world! Please let me know. Btw. great idea to use GPT to give you a list of questions and then answer them in the video :)
Awesome video, I just put in an order this past weekend for a custom color evo. Very excited glad I cam across your video. I am more of a weekend rider, not a serous racer by any means, really looking forward to getting on my elves and showing it off at my local clubs here in Florida.
Amazing to hear! You won’t be disappointed 👌 think I watched every review on hear in anticipation for my bike 🤣🤣
Great video, I have just commented your Instagram, thank you!
Nice one cheers buddy!
I've got the same bike with SRAM force axs. just couldn't find extension bars. Thanks for link.
Enjoy! 🚀🚀🚀
Thanks for the video
Thanks for taking the time to watch 🙏
Beyond ecstatic that the Falath Evo has hit the mark for you, massive privilege for us to have you riding it. Very authentic review, we all need more of this from real world riders’ point of view. Thanks so much for taking the time to put this together. Enjoy the grind!
Thanks for taking the time out to watch it! I’m over the moon with the bike and it’s nothing but smiles from here 👏👏👏
Great video!
Cheers Max!
I just bought one. EZ currently has a promo, and the SL costs £172.
I'm on the fence about the product, I've watched several videos on this and I have yet to hear anyone say it's helped them go even a little faster. I'd like something a little more personal, like "I went 2mph faster with the cover." Haven't heard anyone say that yet. That would be more helpful than the website stats. Just my thought.
That's a fair comment! I will say that it's equally as fast. I am also quite happy to say that since making this video I reverted to a disc wheel for a period and couldn't tell the difference. I have just sold that disc wheel and purchased another EZGains disc cover as the rear wheels that come with my new race bike are 50mm and I wanted matching hubs. I will be fitting an SL cover to them and i'm hoping this setup will be fast for me. I will keep you posted and do some more posts when I have it all together :)
I ve made my own wheel and chainring cover ...aditional combine weight is 150g ...its made from foam and carbon foil...it looks nice (I would say nicer than this imo)...its not super hard ...more like sail but ok its not flutter... made me 3 hours to make and cost me less than 8$
Fair play to you and sounds like a great project! I have just ordered another cover with a nice vinyl wrap to go with my new colours this season. Hope your racing is going well!
Great video! Not at all biased that some photos of my bike included including the whooshing video 😂. Great video
Thanks mate! The whooshes were the most important part 🤣🙌🙌
Fantastic review, Phil 👏
Glad you liked it! 🙌🙌
Do these covers work if my wheel is rim breaks and not disc break?
