This is the last day we rode in Death Valley we decided to do a loop starting at South Pass. We explored some cool abandoned mines and rode to an amazing overlook close to White Top mt. There was some awesome terrain and views that we came across. We end up at Tea Kettle Junction in this video.

Well we had a epic second day on our Death Valley dual sport trip. On day two we to the back way to Cerro Gordo. This is an awesome ride with breath taking views. I tried to give ample footage of the routes. We also detoured to see a old mine site and then to an alternate route back through the Santa Rosa flat.

I took My Husqvarna 501 out to Nevada to do a proper long day adventure test. Did a 110 mile loop to get to Mt. Siegel. Went down Mineral Canyon to Smith Valley. Late September I was invited on a Dual Sport ride around Lake Tahoe with the Valley Trail Riders (VTR). We rode on and off road at areas like Barker Pass, Trails behind North Lake Tahoe and Genoa Peak. It was a awesome day with beautiful weather, great conditions and good company. I been listening to a lot of videos on You Tube by Adventure spec, Mad TV and others and it seems to me that many of them ride lighter bikes when they are going on a serious adventure. Is Light Right? That is the question. I went for a ride on Labor Day to explore this idea and to share some of my thought's on where I am at with my ownership of the mighty T7.

After waiting for almost a year I have finally got my adventure bike. It's been a difficult choice between the KTM 890 Adventure R and the Tenere 700, two of the most capable middle weight adv bikes in the class. Bottom line the After riding the KTM I concluded that it was too hard edge for me. With the Tenere's awesome motor more neutral ergonomics simplicity and price I decided on the T7.
