Hi ! The printer I use for my negatives have 3 choices : 300. 600 or 1200 dpi. What should I choose please ? Thanks.

I've made many trials and the EDN page doesnt allow me to upload my images, it always says it has the wrong size.

There something that don't work. I have a lot of contrast in the print. Colorblocker is done, curve is done, test are ok.. but the result is bad. I've always the same problem. I use a EPSON 3800 printer.

This video doesn't show the process of applying both a color blocker and a computed correction gradient. Will you be producing one for GIMP? Thank you so much!

Dear Peter! What if my test strips' two halves are never the same degree of darkness? I mean, under my negative film material, the paper somehow cannot darken enough to the same degree as without covering it. The film has a slightly whitish surface, but it should darken completely if you expose it for long enough, right? But it doesn't. Could the film block some of the UV wavelengths? Any tips? Thank you for your work!

Dear Peter, for wet collodion, should we apply collodion + silver nitrate to paper instead of the aluminum base?

I'm trying to dowload Screen Proof 3dLUT but when i do it shows orange and no cyanotype color. I have exported from Colorport and from Xrite. And no luck. Please wich is the format to export, and the values?

Peter. I am having problem with the scanned step wedge image not being accepted by the EDN window. it is 1507x1507 and neither a tiff or a jpeg will work. Any ideas why it might not? I have gone over and over the process but to no avail.

Hi, Peter! I have a question: should I print test file as a colour image and then print it via cyanotype?

I'm really curious, is there a reason that the screen printing method you mentioned at the :47 second mark doesn't work for cyanotype/alternative photography processes? What are the steps for that process comparatively/what does that equation that's briefly shown represent?

Do you have any thoughts about storing oiled paper negatives? I just started making them. I’m amazed that once finished, they don’t feel oily at all. I’m using olive oil on copy paper printing on a laser printer. PS, I just ordered a copy of your book. Cheers!

Hi Peter, Many thanks for your wonderful efforts. Using the latest Photoshop (subsciption based. Today is 2 june 2021) I get an error on loading lut file. The error is: Could not parse the 3D LUT because the file is not compatible with this version of photoshop. Any idea's?. Oops. I made a mistake. The file was not correct (was alink to something missing). Now, It works. Many thanks!

On a separate note, there's a Cyanotype image on your website of a church spire and some trees - if you don't mind my asking, how did you achieve the texture and duotone effect there? I've just bought a copy of your Cyanotype book, but haven't yet received it, so maybe the answers are contained therein.

Many thanks for all your online resources, Peter! If one has custom print profiles for papers or transparency media, would you then advocate letting Photoshop handle colours with the appropriate custom profile?

A great video, may I ask something? First, when your ironing for the last time, what side of the paper is at front, the printed or the other side. And second, I promise, the last one question, what side do you use to be in contact with paper when you use to cyanotype, thanks!
