Find out what it is you want to do and like doing and go for it, and keep on trying until you succeed. Don't be afraid to TURN DOWN job offers if you didn't like the interviewer for some reason.

2:06 'most of the jobs going are part time or shift work, unsuitable for a lot of the residents' no doubt the factories and the mines were all office hours when they were open? this illustrates that the problem is not the lack of jobs it is that the people are too idle to do the jobs.

Great job ladies! The problem is that the rich have an entire planet full of potential immigrants and also robots to do all the manual labor for free. That makes most people irrelevant. The rich do not want to pay for useless people to live. So they will kill them off with junk food contaminated water and air drugs alcohol prisons war and mental facilities.

They are "steeped" in a culture that has very little going for it! All those who have gone before, played a part in evolving the valleys outlook, with disease, poor health, lack of immenities, lack of adequate social housing, placing estates on the sides of mountains, lack of ambition, short term thinking, etc.... Isolating entire communities, causing apathy, insular projectivity, all carefully controlled an run by successive councils, councillors and authorities, backed by past governments! Dont believe the "hype"!

Sometimes it is hard to think that this is happening in the UK, but I see this with my own eyes everyday, sadly for the Valleys it is a very real and very harsh reality.

You have the right to all the food, water and electricity you need in order to live comfortably and in abundance. I'm afraid what's ahead isn't quite sinking in yet. The first automated cars went out into the wild recently. Think about the implications of that for a moment. How many people drive for a living in the UK? 5 million? 10 million? Well they're all going to be out of work within three years. It doesn't end there either. Most, if not all manual workers will be out of work within a decade. And more besides. Your work is done. It's time to start placing true value on human life. We're entering a new age. Whilst the control system and the tightly-knit community who are currently rinsing you and the rest of Britain for everything they can while they can is tolerated, the suffering is only going steadily increase. It's a great embarrassment to me to see British people, lucky enough to have an income in the present day, sneering at their less fortunate fellow countrymen. And if you've ever been one of those people, there will come a time in the not too distant future when you become one of the people you previously dismissed as being inferior to yourself. What I was particularly sorry to see in this, was people on the breadline paying for their tv license my goodness. Look up channels like UKTVCool and start to unravel how you've been supporting a peadophile ring committing fraud with impunity for decades. You don't need to pay for a TV License. In fact it's a crime to do so. Anyway, good luck.

Hi - sorry it took 2 years, but this actually was on telly... sort of. This film was made in partnership with BBC Wales for Week In Week Out, and elements were featured in a 30 minute programme which also looked at the making of the film and the wider subject area.
