Hi! My name is Irish Millie. I am a 17 year old Canadian fiddle player and singer / songwriter. I have been playing the fiddle since I was 6. I love all music but tend to lean towards Cape Breton style fiddle and EDM. I love writing my own tunes too! I am proud to announce that I have just been nominated for a third Canadian Folk Music Award in the category of Young Performer of the Year. Lovely playing... shame about the 'Irish' accent, particularly as this is a tune written by Scottish Fiddler Adam Sutherland, and Errogie is in the Highlands of Scotland! 😃
To be be fair it sounds more like a poor attempt at Scottish which makes it worse .!!! It is a lovely version of the tune but I am sure more than a few potential viewers will have ditched the video within the first 15 seconds because of the stupid accent Get that in the bin and let your obvious talent do all the talking !
