How do I watch this whole match? I need to see this!!
Interesting review, although a few samples to illustrate points or changing up the cadence of your voice as you present would help your overall style.
good vid bro!!!! your smoke detector needs new batteries tho...
I swear we’ve changed it twice and still it goes off😂
@@triplecrownpodcast_ 😭😂😂gotta get a new one gang
good vid
ViViZ❤ hope u can do discography review for Gfriend too!
Never, ever do one listen album reviews. You’re an NF fan so it makes sense that you don’t listen to much rap, but that’s the worst thing you could possibly do.
“Yapping on the track.” You’re clearly a casual. He was paying homage to Kanye’s Last Call.
Dude! You just let me know MGMT had a new album and that's AWESOME. The 1st album came out my freshman year of college. I saw them open for Paul McCartney at Fenway before they dropped Congratulations so they were playing these weird psychedelic jams. Congratulations is INCREDIBLE.
I personally didn’t know about it until I started prepping and saw that they had announced it. Congratulations was great, I can go back and forth between it and Little Dark Age as my favorite from them.
What division, there's fuck all going on apart from Toni Storm, Julia Harts been MIA this year in the ring, apart from a tiny crumb and trickle of a story for statlander or Ruby soho, the 'division' is fucked atm, 1 match a show is just not good enough and most of that is spent on Toni Storm (though great she is) is wearing her character out quick. AEW was my top wrestling production last year, loved it. But the ball has seriously been dropped and I am so damn disappointed in the whole product.
Eric Nam can definitely be hard to categorize. He had his start in the Korean industry, but I get the sense that he would like to have a more mainstream breakthrough. I remember watching an interview where he talked about how he had to go to Korea to start a career in order to come back to Atlanta to perform (he is from Atlanta), because there just didn't seem to be opportunities for asians in the music industry in America. A lot of his music seems to be more pop than k-pop geared, sometimes. I don't follow him super closely, but he has lots of songs in English. Edit: I found this interview clip about his 2022 album being in English which addresses part of this: th-cam.com/video/rgB-bPOaunU/w-d-xo.html And the conversation in this older interview starting at 23:35: th-cam.com/video/jhXArnaz66k/w-d-xo.html
Interesting. Thanks for all the info. I noticed the majority english in his songs as well but yet everywhere I checked, they still labeled him as K-Pop. Glad to get some clarification and interested to learn more about his story.
Honestly when you get into the habit of listening to the albums while walking reading learning working you can consitently hit like 2-5 alb per day
great video b! new sub
This really connected with me. thank you for sharing
As a major kpop stan, it was really cool hearing about someone listening to albums I've long-loved for the first time. It was also great to get some ideas on new music to listen to, since I find myself trying to branch out into english music lately. Anyway, really liked this video man, inspired me to try something like it for myself!
I always tell people it takes one song. For years I didn’t think I’d ever get into kpop, but all it took was one song. The great thing about music is there’s something out there for everybody!
this is a good idea bro. imma cop some new earbuds and start this
The best part is, there’s endless options. Hope you enjoy, I definitely have to follow suit and get some new headphones as well.
banger vid keep up the work ❤️
SwaVay is genuinely one of the greatest people I've met and a genuine friend of all, he's damn near a big brother figure to me. GROWN MAN is such a relatable song and one of my favorites from the album, and I think you are spot on with most of the takes in this video. Salute to ya, family!
SwaVay is so great and underrated. I'm excited to see him keep going and putting more music out. Grown Man is truly a song I feel everybody from all walks of life can relate to. Glad you enjoyed the breakdown!
Great 👍
Thxs for sharing you lucky man. It was very pleasent and interesting to listen.
I was lucky enough to be there. It was truly special watching it live in person. Japanese crowds are usually quiet and respectful, but they got vocal and excited during the matches. The matches were that awesome. I must also admit that the results went as I wanted them to, to make it even more enjoyable!
Wow, what an experience that must’ve been! Couldn’t have picked a better event to attend.
Stardom could look a bit confusing for who are used to the western model of pro-wrestling. But, after 4 years watching every single match in Stardom, following every single stroyline, western promotions storylines looks so empty, without any content. Not get me wrong, AEW was a truly gift when started, but I like it for the awesome matches, and don't give much attention to the stories. But, maybe this is because I've become more used to way Stardom run things. Stardom have something that western promotions maybe have forgotten: They treat pro-wrestling like an art, something to inspire , to make you thrilled, not only like a bussiness to make lots of money with billionaire contracts. I've cried a lot watching so many matches in Stardom, but this one was something so deep, so well elaborated, story driven and brutally emotional that's nobody's was prepared. And the tale continues. Utami now will get a time for herself, away from Queen's Quest. That brutal cage match saved their confidence, restored their trust, united the members... Maybe this is what Utami wanted in the end: Show to her partners how a team, a family, needs to be. How every members need to behave with each other, not measuring efforts, not fearing the pain, not affraid to take all risks by yourself, bleeding if necessary, offering your hand, even if this means fall, so, we will fall together. And we will rise together again. She's was saying To all of them stay strong while she's out. Queen's Quest find their way to the glory again, now, it's time to the Great Queen, Utami Hayashishita find her way to the top again. People could not like way Stardom behaves on the matches, the shows or on the gimmicks, but, they cannot make any excuses, saying they don't know how to touch your heart.
100% on everything you said. I similarly love a lot of what AEW does, but I agree that many times I find myself saying, well at least the match will be good. And when it comes to women's wrestling, I have all but given up hope that AEW or WWE will ever get it right. But that's why I'm glad we have Stardom and many other joshi promotions to fill that whole. Stardom has so many great stories that have range. You get the comedy matches, blood feuds, emotional stories, twists and turns. I really wish more people would get into Stardom, although that may be on Stardom for not being as accessible. But here's to hoping they change their minds and expand because they have some of the best to offer in the wrestling world.
@@triplecrownpodcast_ Totally agree. I've started to watch Stardom in certain funny way. I was listening to japanese music, at total random, and a pop rock song start to play. I think that's a awesome song! And I really wondered who was the singer, were I can find more of that artist. And them, I read that was also a entrance theme of an wrestler in Stardom. So, I think "if a wrestler of this company have such awesome entrance theme, the shows could not be something less than amazing to watch!". The music is called "Emblem", old Saki Kashima's entrance theme. So, in a certain Saki-san is the reason I become a diehard Stardom fan. After start watching every week, Tam Nakano become my favorite wrestler, but, Saki is "the number 1 in my heart". So, to me, that cagematch have a even bigger meaning, because, well, you watched, and see who was forced to leave her unity (Imagine me watching that!) This is another point that makes me love Stardom to the death: The bonds you tie with the wrestlers. Saki have a less shinning carreer, but have this special place for make me start watching, Tamu-Chan, for have the most touching storyline in company (all her carreer is a great storyline!) And others things. I can stay here writting until my fingers broke. But, in short words: I love Stardom, because they allows the fans to feel close to the wrestlers, because they aren't showed as mega-stars or almost mythical heroes like in other companies, they are girls like me, that challenge all the limits for passion.
Oh man! While everybody was happy Queens Quest was fine, I can only imagine what you felt watching poor Saki getting booted from Oedo Tai. At least she’s under the protection of Syuri now. And that’s so fascinating that music brought you to Stardom, but entrance themes are definitely an underrated part of wrestling. Stardom has a ton of good ones and I’m glad they uploaded them to streaming services for us to listen to.
So sad such a beautiful soul like Hana’s was taken from us. She was a true delight to have around.
