Those draw back strings are very easy to replace. Use maybe 30 lb test. Your bell won't work with that paper finger on the right in the way I bet. Try sliding it over.

The paint wear is from folding the typewriter, not from hands resting on it. Looks like new feet. Where’d you get them? Thx for the vid.
