I had 1 of those and it was my best handling and fastest Fly car after mods. I think I finally got a second for a shelf queen. Ran the heck out of that car! Will have to look for both when I have time.No mag!

This car is based on a 1995 Mondeo from the British Touring Car Championship. #3 was driven by New Zealand's Paul Radisich. The Scalextric model was released in 1996 and is number C692. The rear wing is not the original one for this model, it's actually from the 1998 variant of the BTCC Mondeo. I'm enjoying these videos, keep up the good work.👍

I’ve just been bought the original Mexico from 1978 in its original box my son bought it for me for my 53rd birthday yes I did have the original one however the newer models are so expensive 😭

Just bought one of these 99% accurate I say that only because there's no machine gun. Very impressed I like to see hornby make the main vehicles of Captain Scarlet ie the SPV & SPC.
I'd love to see a Captain Scarlet range too, they would be day 1 buys for sure.

Nice one, Everyone loves an Escort. Your one is quite a new one C4314, it was never fitted with bumper's. But an absolute bargain if you got it for less than 20 quid! Thank's for making the video and supporting the hobby.

Neither had I until recently. Whether they would appeal to the "professional" racer I'm not so sure. But they seem to be excellent models and relatively cheap!
Great video, I would want the model as a stand alone for display purposes, can the brushes underneath the model be removed in order for it to sit on all wheels does anyone happen to know? Thank you.
I'm pretty certain you could take the guide out fine. I've not had this one apart yet, but all scalextric I have, you can change the guide. Thanks for watching
