@TitanaMaster Unfortunately, no. The only reason CUDA is good for rendering is because it is done on the graphics card. Which is its primary purpose. Graphics processing and standard processiong work very differently. Surprisingly, the graphics card would probably take about the same amount of time if not longer to do the physics simulations. Unless, of course, they utilized PhysX. Then we might be onto something. But alas, they have not. So maybe one day we will see that used.

rendering and simulation done with CUDA? Could you also tell me if there is any simulation engine, whatever it is, for fluids, cloths etc for CUDA. Please remember... simulations. not rendering. fantastic work mate! blender rocks!

@hamsteralliance Thanks. I tried it about 4 or five times in order to get this recording. FRAPS brings down my framerate and makes it a lot more difficult.
