How to teach your ferrets some fancy tricks such as ''stand up'', ''hi5'', ''shake paw'', and ''rollover'' with Johnny & Cujo Cujo (the Marshall Black Roan Mitt) is hard of hearing and he is still learning ! Demon was not at his very best in this video lol He was very stubborn today and he was not really interested...

Good training, but they need to eat meat, not sugary treats.
Does this work with kits? My baby Cosmo is three months and I’m practicing up with her going up on the couch side so she has a stabilizer, I hope it works on kits ... the moving your hand to the other side for roll over is a great idea! Can I do paw on the couch side too??
That past is extremely harmful for ferrets please don't use it and use salmon oil
It's best not to add the command until you have lured them into the behavior. they learn to tune out you saying roll over, over and over. A clicker also helps for marking the behavior. Just some tips from dog training that might make training easier. I hope it helps!

My ferret is 3 months and I tired to teach him to roll over and guess what he did........he on,y did it once
what should I do if one of my ferrets doesn’t like treats? what should I give her instead, she doesn’t really eat unless she’s hungry and I don’t want to take the food bowl away to train them at all

My little boy learned high five in about 5 minutes. I am always surprised by how smart they are. They know what the word "bath" means too haha

What is the treat used? I've never seen it before, hope I'll find it in France. Also, my ferret is 5 and a half yo and never learned tricks before, do you guys think it'll be a problem or is it never too late? Still he knows to use a litter box & come when called but that's all, he's been knowing that since he was little, even when he's sleeping somewhere and I'm looking for him he wakes up and comes yawning at me.
Eaten Doll Marshall FuroVite or Marshall FerretLax (hairball preventive) is what I have used with this picky eaters. You can use chicken, duck, tuna, whatever they want to eat. The black roan mitt was adopted when he was 3yo, so there is no age limit to teach an old ferret new tricks 😉

Tbh, I found something to cry about, put sticky notes for positive things about ferrets, and wrote an essay and that seemed to work. :)

When I play with my ferret I get a cloth ball and roll it so the can catch it then bite then I guve them their treat 😀

what was tue treat that you gave your ferrets?
is it good for them to give Lax creme as a treat? like i dont know if they can have too much of the Lax? the girl who sold me my Ferret told me to give him a drop minimum every like 3 to 4 times a week bit is there a maximum? i just got my first feret yesterday 😊
only a little as needed .. as a treat no more than few tiny drops ..

I've been giving my 3 month old boy bits of dried beef lung I got from Tractor Supply Company and he absolutely loves it.
