The brakes on Russian cars take two business days to respond.

Russian drivers never look in their mirrors, or even out of their side windows. They just stare straight ahead when turning.

In a normal country, none of these "accidents" wouldn't happen. It seems like most of them are done on purpose. Probably, people are driving wearing welding glasses.

Russians never has a plan to stop in time. First and foremost: Drive as fast and as close to other vehicles as possible.

I think I can see the problem ... They're driving too fast for the road conditions. And they're drunk.

How do some of these drivers even survive these crashes? Unreal!

A eye test is not needed to obtain a license for driving in Russia. Even with 10% eyesight you can drive. Furthermore, the only way is forward. Holding back is just not done.

Even a Pigeon, high up in a tree, is not safe for a Russian driver.

This video really shows the wild side of driving in Russia, and I appreciate the effort put into compiling these clips! However, I can't help but wonder if using dashcam footage like this glorifies reckless driving. It's entertaining, but does it also encourage dangerous behavior on the roads?

5:40 - The cammer caused that crash deliberately. They could easily have moved to their right, to miss the other car, but chose to go left to hit it.

Russian drivers have no idea what the brake pedal does.

Whether a car or motor bike-and regardless of the weather or time of day/night-there's not even a hint of defensive driving, nor an understanding of speed, timing, distance, etc. Amazing.

The cars are running on petrol. The trucks are running on diesel. The drivers are running on vodka.

We all see these kind of prangs in our own countries but nowhere could be as numerous or bad as Russia. Are so many of them spaced out on vodka? No caution where traffic is banked up at turns or intersections, no one seems to use turn indicators, no none seems to use rear vision mirrors . . . Is there a licensing system in Russia? Is driver training and testing in place or is it all down to uncle Nikita who gives some basic tuition one afternoon then just let it rip?
