    nice video! Just started pickleball recently and was wondering if any of these techniques translate well. Have you tried it?

    i just played tennis for the first time ever this weekend and i loved it. BUT i kept hitting the ball way too high and it would go over the gate lol (i used to play softball so i’m used to swinging up at a ball). should i be swinging the racket level all the way through or downward?

      @Duan_Tennis_Coaching หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hahah no worries just make sure you keep the racket face slightly closed and you want to drop your racket head slightly underneath the ball, but then make sure you extend forward towards your target and then follow through over your left shoulder or to the side of your left shoulder.

    I love the way he broke it down into 4 main components. unlike other videos where you’re simultaneously a pro, this video explains well how to get to that phase.

    1 thing you left out is the role of right and left hand during swing. Do you pull with right and push with left? If so is it 70/30 left/right? Or you swing with only left hand and right serves as guide only

    • @Duan_Tennis_Coaching
      @Duan_Tennis_Coaching 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes good catch you want to generate 80% from the left arm and the right arm acts as just a guide for the left arm to help the racket stabilize but you want to be using mostly the left arm for everything. The push and pull is not the best method to teach it because the left arm should be doing almost all the work.
