It obviously depends on the tornado. Tornadoes usually cause much more destruction.

I have a few clips on my instagram of Derechos/Microburst. Last two storm seasons for us was hella rough. Lost our power for 3 days at one point. Longest I've been out was 2 weeks. back in like 06 or 07.

About 3:30 after you turned the camera away from your family, look straight down the side walk to that tree and end of the apartment. That flash is called a power flash. High winds can cause it too, but usually means tornado is close.

@@AAron017 it was at 3:36 actually, and the flash of light through the trees just before the power went out. Power flashes are typically that color although they can have a blue tent too. I could be wrong, but that's my impression from seeing that flash and the power going out. Power flashes are also an indicator of a nearby tornado.

@MrChristopherHaas thank you, I’m glad you like it. It started spinning as it was coming towards us. But it stopped spinning as it was passing over. No debris landed in our yard.
Since no one believes there was a tornado, it formed after it passed us, hopes this clears up any confusion or questions you might’ve had.
I've had my own tornado experinces. People are I hope I never see it again,but here in New England it's rare to see any. We've had 2 tornado warnnigs for the entire New England States, nothing happened. Saw at m best guess an EF5 forming in a parking lot, exiting a store just this summer, finding what I'd best think was an EF3, going into Worcester,Massachusetts July 31st, seeing at my best guesses Ef4 and EF1 both being born in the time, one summer waking up at 6 a.m., hearing tornado warning for Webster Massachusetts(where I'm at), finding out we had 4. The 3 that hit downtown were Ef3's,, and it STILL had enough energy to spawn another EF1 up town! One summer no matter where I went, I'd see funnel clouds, so I've had several tornado experiences

In Minnesota, was posted about 3 days later than I wanted it to be.
I didn't see a tornado. While that storm may have produced a tornado at some point in its history, it did not produce one there.
It formed after it passed us
Technically, if rotation was occurring in the clouds, some say a tornado is there but just hasn't formed and touched down. So the title is right.
